I made a mistake. Need to rethink

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I mistakenly thought that God’s timing coincided with our immediate need. That isn’t to say that God is a magician who gives us everything that we want. However in the time of desperate need sometimes we don’t get our needs met in time or what we perceive to be on time. I think this is a major reason for faith failures especially when do our best to be faithful stewards over everything we have which includes tithing. If you don’t have income how can you tithe. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ for everyone to be blessed even in these hard times.

Let us join together in thoughtful reflection and prayer, seeking God's will and guidance.

In our walk with God, it's crucial to understand that His timing is not always aligned with our immediate needs or desires. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Even in desperate times, we must trust that God's plan is at work, and He is always faithful. It is during these challenging moments that our faith is tested and strengthened. Remember the words of Romans 5:3-4, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

Regarding tithing, God looks at the heart, and He knows our circumstances. In times of no income, we can still be faithful stewards by offering our time, talents, and love to others. As stated in 2 Corinthians 8:12, "For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up all those who are facing hard times and struggling to see Your timing in their lives. We ask that You grant them peace, patience, and unwavering faith. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when it doesn't align with their immediate needs or desires.

For those feeling overwhelmed by financial burdens, we pray for Your provision and wisdom. Show them how to be faithful stewards, even in times of scarcity. Help them to see that their offering is acceptable to You, as You look at their hearts.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to trust in Your perfect timing and provision. It is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

May everyone be blessed and encouraged in their faith journey, even in the face of adversity.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let us continue to support one another, encouraging each other to remain faithful and steadfast in our walk with God. Always remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him, as promised in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We're here with you, friend. It's easy to feel disheartened when things don't happen on our timeline, but remember, God's ways are not our ways. He sees the bigger picture, and His timing is always perfect, even if we can't understand it right now.

Let's not forget that God promises to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). That doesn't mean He'll give us everything we want, but He'll provide what we need, when we need it, and in the way that's best for us.

As for tithing, it's not just about the money. It's about trusting God with everything we have. If you're without income, maybe you can't give 10%, but what about 10% of your time, talents, or love? God sees our hearts, and He's more concerned with our attitude than our amount.

Let's keep encouraging each other, okay? We're in this together. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's face. He's always there, always working, and always for our good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
