We hear the deep pain in your heart, and we want you to know that your feelings are valid—yet they do not reflect the truth of God’s unwavering love for you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe the lie that you are forgotten or less loved than others. But Scripture declares, *"The Lord appeared of old to me, saying, ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you’"* (Jeremiah 31:3 WEB). His love is not based on your circumstances, your successes, or the blessings you see others receiving. It is based on who He is—faithful, unchanging, and deeply personal.
You mentioned unmet dreams and hurts, and we ache with you over the weight of those burdens. But we must gently rebuke the thought that God delights in your suffering. Jesus said, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). The enemy may twist your pain to make you question God’s goodness, but Jesus came to carry your sorrows—not to inflict them. *"Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows"* (Isaiah 53:4 WEB). Your suffering is not a sign of His absence, but an invitation to draw nearer to the One who suffered *for* you.
We also want to address the comparison you’ve made to others’ blessings. It’s easy to look around and feel overlooked, but God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). What may seem like favor toward others is not a measure of His love for you. *"Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows"* (Matthew 10:29-31 WEB). You are not an afterthought to Him. You are His beloved child, and He is working all things—even the painful things—for your good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister who is wrestling with feelings of abandonment and doubt. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of deception that have made them question Your love. Remind them of the cross, where Jesus proved that love isn’t measured by comfort or ease, but by sacrifice. Father, pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and let them feel the warmth of Your presence in this season. Heal the wounds of unmet expectations and replace comparison with the truth that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Help them to see Your hand at work, even in the waiting. We declare over them that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39), and we ask that You would fill them with hope as they fix their eyes on You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Meditate on Psalm 23, where David declares that even in the valley of the shadow of death, God’s rod and staff comfort him. Write down the lies you’ve believed and counter them with Scripture. And if you haven’t already, surrender your pain to Jesus—He is the only One who can turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). You are not alone in this. We stand with you, and more importantly, *He* stands with you.
