I join the Prayer Request family asking for prayers for me, my 16 yo son and my husband of 18 years of marriage. We recently lost our 6 year old little boy back in June of this year. My baby drown and I just can not stop blaming myself and then I blame my husband for getting him dress. I grieve and grieve and just asking for prayers and understand as to why this happen to our family. My heart is so broken, my husband is devasted and our 16 yo son is struggling with everything that is going on in our house. We attend church every Sunday, but still struggle and trying to figure out what we need to do. We just want to see our loved one again so bad. As for all to pray.

I know that the comfort of Heaven is not always comforting, for in our earthly state we MISS the ones we love and we struggle to fill the whole that is left in there absence.

Oh, Heavely FAther, I pray for peace for this family. I know that not much time has gone by but I pray for peace. And I denounce blaim and resentment in Jesus name. This family has surely made it thru a number of struggles over the past 18 years, and although this is sure to be the most difficult let it not end their marriage. Because that is exactly what blaim and resentment will do to this marriage...destroy it....if not dealt with. I pray that this family is recieving family and individual counseling lord. Make a way financially for them to do this. They must have Godly counsel to move forward and to maintain the healthy family you long for them to have. Lord, we know that you can turn this situation into something that strengthens their bond in the long run. But right now, Satan aims to steal, kill and destroy this family. Satan's greatest weapon is deception, which causes disunity and division in the Scriptures, and ultimately the destruction of souls.May they all turn to you Lord. They are all on empty emotionally, which makes it difficult to turn to each other in this crisis. May each of them know that they other is going thru the same thing, even though we all grieve differently. Heal them lord, bring them peace. Do not let them loose everything they have left---each other. Lord, give them strength were they are without. Lord, give them faith were they are without.Lord, give them foregiveness were they are without. Lord, give them peace were they are without. All this we ask in Jesus name. AMEN!

I do not know how anyone can go through such heartache and retain any sanity without the peace and love of God carrying them through it.

My prayers are with you and your family. Our Times Are In God's Hands. Your son is in heaven. He is happy. He is in the Master’s hands and all is wel. One thing I know, death cannot kill love, and hands cannot bury it. Heaven is a glorious place. A place every Christian longs to be.

You will miss his presence here on earth. I know you were not ready to let him go. It was too soon. But if he could talk to you, he would tell you, “It was time for me to go. My assignment was over. I fought a good fight. I kept the faith. I finished my course. You will never forget me. I will always live in your heart. This is not goodbye and this is not the end. I love you.â€

What Do We Do?

In the world we live in, we are going to have all kinds of problems, frustrations and difficulties. That's just life. So knowing this, what do we do?

We must remain steadfast and persevere. In other words, the answer is never give up! No matter what's going on in our lives, the victory is in refusing to quit.

Keep in mind that in the heat of our struggles, the Holy Spirit is probably doing His greatest work within us. He is not moved by the circumstances. If you and I really trust Him, we shouldn't be either! He's not in our lives for good times only, but for the difficult times as well.

He will lead us through anything if we'll just hang in there and follow Him. This means being diligent in prayer, relentless in our resolve, unwavering in faith, and determined to stand firmly on God's Word and His promises to us.

So many times we can be sidetracked by how slowly things seem to be going. In fact, the enemy loves to point that out! But remember, that's when God may be doing some of His greatest work. You see, it's not all about you and me. The Lord's work in us is preparation for the work He wants to do through us!

I know life can be hard sometimes. But I also know that God will help us if we remain steadfast. Let's stand on Galatians 6:9: "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up" (NLT).

So let me ask that question again: What do we do? My answer is, never give up! What's your answer?

Prayer Starter: God, I believe that You are at work in my life, even during difficult times. I choose today to remain steadfast and to never give up in obedience to You.

Don't let the devil take anything from your lives, because he will. Focus on God and pray to God everyday and persevere. Just know that God has a perfect plan for all of us. Times may be hard now, but trust in God and he will deliver is from our troubles. God is always here with us. Have blind faith in God faith that he will do his will in our lives. God has given his only begotten son so we all can be forgiven. In Jesus name we pray AMEN!!
