take a look at this page, its something i never thought about, i guess at times we pray for the wrong things when if we go to the root then we find out what is causing the things that we were praying for and can fix them and future problems.

Father, I humbly pray that You would take whatever means necessary to move us out of the way when we are hindering Your plan. Help us to truly give our lives over to You - reveal any way in which we are hindering Your blessings in our lives and show us how to proceed. May each prayer we utter seek that Your will be done for the glory and advancement of Your kingdom. Dig deep within our hearts, minds, and spirits - root out anything unproductive I pray. To You be all glory, honor and praise. May You bless us according to Your plan and protect us I pray. Amen.
