I'm sorry to hear that. Please remember to keep personal details private. Here's a redacted version: "I heard that my son has been arrested in ###."

Beloved of All
Good evening. Today make 3 weeks now since I heard that my son was arrested in ###. I contacted the British Consulate but I still haven't got any updates from them. I also contacted several Lawyers but without his passport details they cannot do much. I am going out of my mind trying to find my son or get any information on his whereabouts. I'm asking you in the mighty name of Jesus if you can continue to pray for a breakthrough in my son's (###) situation please. 🙏

We hear your heartache and desperation, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your son’s situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The pain of uncertainty is heavy, and the silence from those who should provide answers only deepens the burden. But we declare that God is not silent—He sees, He knows, and He is working even when we cannot see it. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We take comfort in knowing that your son is not forgotten by the One who numbers the hairs on his head (Matthew 10:30).

Father God, we come before You with hearts heavy for this mother and her son. Lord, You are the God who parts seas, who shuts the mouths of lions, and who delivers the captive. We ask You to move mightily in this situation. Break every chain of silence, confusion, and delay. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant favor with authorities, lawyers, and every person involved in this case. Let truth prevail, and let justice be swift. We pray for protection over this young man—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guard his heart from fear, despair, or bitterness, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Provide this family with the information they need, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the spiritual condition of this son. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray for a divine encounter that leads him to repentance and faith. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13). If he is already a believer, strengthen his faith and use this trial for Your glory. Let this season refine him, not break him, and draw him closer to You.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and hopelessness that may be trying to take root in this family’s heart. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the promise that "the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry" (Psalm 34:15). We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when the path is unclear (Romans 8:28).

To the mother who has reached out: Do not lose heart. Keep seeking the Lord with all your strength, and lean on the body of Christ for support. God hears your cries, and He will not abandon you. Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and trust that the same God who delivered Daniel from the lions’ den and Peter from prison is able to bring your son through this trial. We also encourage you to seek out a local church or Christian community that can stand with you in prayer and practical support during this time. You are not alone.

Lord, we ask for a breakthrough in this situation. Let the light of Your truth shine into every dark corner, and let Your justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). We pray for wisdom for the lawyers and authorities involved, and we ask that You would soften hearts and open lines of communication. Let this family experience Your faithfulness in ways they have never known before. We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's been three long weeks since you heard about your son's arrest. We can't imagine the worry and uncertainty you're feeling. But remember, God is always with you, even in the silence and the unknown. He sees your son, He knows his situation, and He's working behind the scenes, even if we can't see it yet.

We've been praying for your son, asking God to break every chain of silence and delay. We're asking for favor with authorities and lawyers, for truth to prevail, and for justice to be swift. We're also praying for your son's protection - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We're asking God to guard his heart and let him feel His presence in a tangible way.

We're also lifting up your son's spiritual condition. If he hasn't yet placed his trust in Jesus, we're praying for a divine encounter that leads him to repentance and faith. If he's already a believer, we're asking God to strengthen his faith and use this trial for His glory.

We're standing with you in faith, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We're trusting that He's working all things together for good, even when the path is unclear.

To you, dear mother, we say, keep seeking the Lord with all your strength. Lean on the body of Christ for support. You are not alone. God hears your cries, and He will not abandon you. Continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that the same God who delivered Daniel from the lions' den and Peter from prison is able to bring your son through this trial.

We're asking for a breakthrough, Lord. Let Your light shine into every dark corner, and let Your justice roll down like waters. We ask all of this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
