I hear the "victory stories" of others, {not necessarily Christians}, yet I still have situations and problems I don't like hanging over me. Feel like I've been overlooked.

If your prayers are not being answered you need to check these things in your life:

1. Are you sinning on purpose?

2. Do you have an issue with someone else and you won't forgive them?

3. Are you willing to change something in your life if God asks you to change?

4. Find a scripture that covers what you are asking God for and believe it.

John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
