I haven't heard from ### and also the lawyers, for a while.

Godispowerful

Humble Servant
I deserve to hear some good news. I have many things on my mind that I need to take care of until I receive a delivery from my lawyers or ###. God knows I've been patient and waiting all day. God understands what’s happening. It’s definitely time for my delivery. God didn't play around with me.

We join with you in prayer as you wait for news from the lawyers and from the one you are expecting to hear from, and we understand how heavy it feels to carry many things on your mind while you wait. Waiting can test our patience and our trust, and we hear your desire for good news and for resolution so you can take care of what is before you.

We want to gently speak to some of what you shared because we love you and want to align our hearts with God's truth. You said you deserve to hear good news and that it is definitely time for your delivery and that God did not play around with you. We understand the frustration of waiting all day and feeling that patience has been stretched thin, but Scripture reminds us that God is not on our timetable and He is never playing games with His children. He is sovereign, holy, and faithful, and His timing is perfect even when it does not feel that way to us. To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1. Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him Lamentations 3:25. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14. Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint Isaiah 40:31.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and through His resurrection that we can come boldly before God with our needs, trusting not in what we deserve but in His grace and mercy.

We encourage you to release the sense of deserving and instead rest in God's grace and provision, bringing your requests to Him with thanksgiving and trust. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, even the delays and the silence.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together for this dear one who is waiting and weary. Lord, You know the situation with the lawyers and with the one they long to hear from, You know the delivery they are awaiting and every burden on their mind. We ask that You would give them Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to wait on You with strength and courage, to trust Your perfect timing and not lean on their own understanding. We pray that if it is Your will, You would bring the good news and the delivery swiftly and justly, and that You would guide the lawyers and all involved to act with integrity and diligence. Help our friend to be a good steward of the things You have placed before them today while they wait, and to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matthew 6:33. Forgive us when we speak as if You owe us on our schedule, and teach us to humble ourselves under Your mighty hand, that You may exalt us in due time 1 Peter 5:6. We pray that they would know more deeply the hope and access we have only through Jesus, and that they would call upon His name in faith. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how heavy this waiting has been for you. You have been watching all day for word from the lawyers and from ###, trying to stay patient while so many other things feel like they are on hold until that delivery comes. It makes sense you are tired and ready for good news, and that your mind feels full.

We want you to know God does see you in this. He knows the patience it has taken and the pressure of having so much to take care of at once. We do not know the timing of the answers you are waiting for, but we trust He is with you in each hour of the wait and will give wisdom for the next step as it comes.

When everything feels paused until one call or delivery arrives, it can help to give your thoughts a little more room. You mentioned many things on your mind. It might help to get them out of your head and onto paper, just as a simple list, and then choose one small, practical thing you can tend to today while you wait. If the constant checking is wearing you down, you could also set one specific time tomorrow to follow up once with the lawyers for an update, and then let yourself step away from watching for it the rest of the day.

Jesus, we lift our friend to You. You know this long day of waiting and the longing for good news. Grant peace tonight, clear wisdom for the matters at hand, and steady trust in Your care. Guide the communication with the lawyers and with ###, and lead what comes next according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

The heaviness of waiting presses sorely upon the spirit, especially when many cares crowd the mind and the expected word does not come. You speak of having been patient all day, and of deserving good news, and of a delivery that seems overdue. Let us turn your eye from the waiting itself to the God upon whom we wait.

Scripture tells us that the Lord is a waiting God, waiting that He may be gracious unto us. Behold how the heart of God yearns towards His people, not in haste to trifle with them, but in long forbearance and singular patience. He is not playing with you. When it seems that everything is delayed and broken down, we find Him still lovingly waiting, ready to pardon, ready to show mercy through Jesus Christ. His waiting is not neglect, but grace gathering itself to be poured out in due season.

And when God has waited for the soul, that soul is brought to wait on Him. This is the lesson of the Psalmist, My soul, wait thou only upon God. Calvin renders it, be thou silent before God, rest calm and undisturbed. To wait only upon God is to hang upon nothing but the promise of God, to float in the ether of confidence, needing nothing to uphold you but the right hand of the Majesty on high. If your expectation is fixed upon lawyers or upon any other hand, the heart will be tossed. But they that wait upon the Lord shall not want any good thing. That is the right kind of independency, to know no dependence except upon God.

You say you deserve good news. Yet before God none of us stands upon desert, but upon mercy. We come back to God and to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and there we find peace, not because we have earned it, but because He has created peace, restored peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant, and will perfect it. He is the God of peace, and that peace which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. It is first peace with God through justification, and then the peace of God within, which comes when the mind is stayed on Him because it trusts in Him.

Therefore I would counsel you to do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. Go and cry unto God most high, unto God that performs all things for you. Let your moderation be known unto all men, dealing with earthly things on the principle of caution, while all your joy is in God. Pray for the patience of Christ, the patient waiting for Christ, saying, Let Him do what seems Him good. Though it be for months or years, wait on. Christ is glorified by our patience.

May the Lord direct your heart into the love of God and into the patient waiting for Christ. May He keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, and teach you to taste and see that the Lord is good. Bring your many cares before Him, not demanding a delivery according to your timing, but asking for grace to trust His timing, for wisdom for what you must do this day, and for that peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away.
