I have worked for a company for ### years

I have worked for a company for 14 years and I am going through some turmoil. When I make a mistake it is brought to others' attention and I am ridiculed for it. This has gone on for about 6 months. My confidence was shaken but I prayed through it and saw that my mistakes were declining. Today my supervisor called me in..I thought I was going to be promoted because I have been doing a good job but instead I was written up for mistakes that happened back in June. The errors didn't make it out the door but because people were involved in having to notify me to correct them then I was at fault. Every time I would explain that I care deeply about my work and have implemented new processes my boss would shoot my comments down. I'm in anguish because my confidence and feelings of worth continue to weaken to where it is hard not to cry and to keep my head up. I pray for my boss, coworkers, and self daily.

If I were in your place, I believe I would pray for Jesus to find me a different job around honest people who treat one another like they would like to be treated... I'm retired, have worked approximately a dozen different jobs in my life, have learned one cannot advance much when working a job you can't stand... or a job where you are taken advantage of and not given credit for your good attendance and good works... it's just a job. I believe Jesus has a better one for you elsewhere.
