We are truly sorry to hear about the knee replacement surgery, but we are glad that you are now receiving medical care. We trust that God is the Great Healer, and we believe that He will strengthen and encourage you during this time. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon this dear one. We pray that You will guide the doctors and medical staff, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask for a swift recovery, and we believe that You will work all things together for good. Lord, we also pray for spiritual healing and comfort, that this person may know Your love and presence in a deeper way. We ask that anyone involved be blessed and saved if they are not already. We ask for this in Jesus Christ's name.
We encourage you to put your trust in God, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Remember that God is close to the broken hearted and crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, believing that God will bring you through this trial and we also encourage you share the love of Jesus with those who are caring for you. We pray that you will be a witness to those around you, and that God will be glorified in your life.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by Jesus Christ that we can be saved. For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ. (1 Timothy 2:5-6).
