Beloved of All
Upcoming I have to preach the Word of God at a local ###. Please support me with prayers to God. Let us pray, Heavenly Father, to help me prepare for this sermon (writing a sermon plan, coming up with examples and illustrations, organizing my thoughts and all), in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me a very strong anointing, wisdom and boldness, so that with this sermon to be maximally effective in achieving God's goals, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that when I stand to preach the Word of God, the Heavenly Father will inspire me, clothe every word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, so that all God's will will be done in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will help me to fulfill this task (my ministry in this church) in such a way as to make my Heavenly Father's heart as gladly as possible and to glorify His Name, in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ of ###!

We stand with you in eager anticipation as you prepare to proclaim the Word of God in the local church. What a sacred privilege it is to open the Scriptures before God’s people! We join our hearts with yours in prayer, asking the Lord to fill you with His wisdom, anointing, and boldness as you craft and deliver this sermon.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, recognizing that apart from You, we can do nothing. We ask that You would guide every step of preparation, from the selection of Scripture to the organization of thoughts, from the choice of illustrations to the clarity of application. May Your Holy Spirit bring to mind the very passages and examples that will speak directly to the hearts of those who hear. Let Your Word be like a fire and a hammer, breaking the rocks in pieces, as Jeremiah 23:29 declares: "Isn’t my word like fire? says Yahweh; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" We pray that this sermon would not be mere words, but a living, active force that accomplishes Your purposes.

Lord, we ask for a fresh anointing upon our brother/sister as they stand to preach. Clothe every word with the power of the Holy Spirit, that lives would be transformed, hearts would be convicted, and souls would be drawn closer to You. Let the truth of Your Word pierce through the noise of the world and resonate deeply within those who listen. As 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 reminds us, "My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."

We also pray for boldness, that there would be no fear or hesitation in proclaiming the full counsel of God. Let the message be delivered with clarity, authority, and love, reflecting the heart of Christ. May the preacher’s life be a living testimony to the truth they proclaim, for as James 3:1 warns, "Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment." We ask that You would guard their heart and mind, keeping them pure and focused on Your glory alone.

Above all, we pray that this ministry would bring joy to Your heart and glorify Your Name. May the sermon be a sweet aroma to You, a sacrifice of praise that pleases You. Let the hearers respond with repentance, faith, and obedience, that Your will would be done in their lives. We ask all these things in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, whose blood has purchased our redemption and whose resurrection power is at work within us. Amen.

As you prepare, remember the words of 2 Timothy 4:2: "Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching." Stay rooted in prayer, immerse yourself in the Scriptures, and trust that God will use your obedience for His glory. The harvest is plentiful, and the Lord of the harvest is faithful to equip His laborers. May His peace and presence go with you as you step into this holy calling.

We're holding you up in prayer as you prepare. It's clear from what you've written that your heart's desire is not for your own eloquence but for God to move through you to accomplish His purposes, and that kind of dependence is exactly where the Holy Spirit works most freely.

Alongside prayer, one practical thing that may steady you in these final days of preparation is to set aside a little time to simply sit quietly and ask the Lord not only what He wants you to say, but how He wants you to say it. Sometimes we focus so intently on outlines and illustrations that we can miss the quieter nudges about tone, pacing, or even which point to linger on. Several of us have found that as we prayerfully picture the faces we'll be speaking to, their real burdens, their hidden hopes, the Spirit often sharpens our words and softens our heart at the same time. You are not just delivering a message; you are stepping into a pastoral moment with people God loves, and He will be present in that room long before you open your mouth.

We're praying for the whole of your task: the writing, the organizing, the speaking, and, just as much, the quiet moments in between where God does His deepest work in you.

Father, thank You for this servant who wants nothing more than to handle Your Word faithfully and to bring honor to Jesus. As the sermon plan takes shape, grant clarity of thought and freshness of insight. When this brother stands to preach, clothe him with genuine boldness and tenderness in all the right proportions. May Your Spirit rest on every word spoken, so that hearts are drawn not to a messenger but to the Savior. Accomplish everything You intend through this sermon, and let this pastor's own heart be full of joy in the task. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The great task before you cannot be accomplished by any might of man, nor by the strength of good intentions, but only by the might of God the Holy Spirit. How can any man preach except by the Spirit of Holiness? Unbelief grieves Him; confidence in the flesh grieves Him. See to it that you put no trust in mere preparation, as though a sermon plan or illustrations could quicken a single soul. The carnal mind knows nothing of praying in the Holy Spirit’s power, and that prayer which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh.

Oh, for more of the anointing of the Holy Spirit whom Christ is prepared to give immeasurably! Let the preacher always confess before he preaches that he relies upon the Holy Spirit. Let him burn his manuscript and depend upon the Holy Spirit. For only when the Holy Spirit comes is there any life and force and power. A sermon of Christ set in the Light of the Holy Spirit shines like a diamond. You must have the Holy Spirit Himself to teach you, for no one can reveal the Holy Spirit but the Holy Spirit. Give yourself up fully to His Divine anointing and bedewing, and then even a single word of Christ will shine with light that is never dim.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus. See to it that your sermon magnifies nothing but Christ, or you will not be on Holy Spirit ground. Let your entire dependence be upon Him, for without the Holy Spirit you utterly fail. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption. That loving grief may be traced to His holy Character; unholiness in the preacher or unbelief in the pulpit vexes Him. If you grieve Him, you lose your seal, and then what power remains? But if you honor the Holy Spirit by entire reliance, He will receive of Christ and show it to you, and through you.

The Holy Spirit says, “Today.” Why so urgent, blessed Spirit, why so urgent? Because this very day He would speak through you to the people. So cry mightily unto God, for you can only preach aright by His own Presence with you. Pray in the Holy Spirit; let Him help you to pray. May the Holy Spirit clothe every word with power, so that the Heavenly Father’s heart is made glad and His Name is glorified. This is the one thing you must seek: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Let us pray, then, not just for you but with you, that this sermon may be offered to God as the firstfruits of your labor. For the Apostle Paul, when he addressed the Romans, began not with his own greatness but with thanksgiving to God for their faith, which was spoken of throughout the world. So you too, before you mount the pulpit, give thanks. Not only when you feel prepared, but because the very act of preaching is a gift. And do not marvel if you feel weak; for God’s power is perfected in weakness, and the Spirit given to us is not one of cowardice but of power and love and self-control. What you need is not polished rhetoric or an abundance of examples, but boldness, a holy confidence that the words are not yours but His. The early preachers, those fishermen and publicans, turned the world upside down not by syllogisms but by the plain declaration of Christ. So let your sermon be a herald’s proclamation: add nothing, withhold nothing, just speak the truth openly.

As you write your plan, remember that it is the Spirit who must anoint every word. We can arrange and study, and this is good, but the living voice in that hour must be clothed with power from on high. For the Spirit came upon the Lord at His baptism not because He lacked anything, but to make Him known. So the Spirit will make Christ known through your words, if you rely entirely upon Him. That same Spirit is the one who seals believers and gives the earnest of glory; He will also seal your message on the hearts of the hearers. Do not fear their faces or the size of the congregation; fear only that you might rely on yourself. When you stand, let the inner man be so filled with love for God and neighbor that boldness flows naturally, for love casts out fear. The goal is not to impress but to pierce hearts, and that is the work of the Spirit alone.

Ask, then, that the Father would grant you the spirit of compunction, that your own soul be first pricked, and then the words will come as from a fire. Prepare with diligence, yes, but carry that preparation lightly, like the loaves in the hands of the Lord: small, but enough for thousands when He blesses. And when you open your mouth, may the Father look upon His Son and send the same Spirit who overshadowed the virgin, who descended as a dove, to make your speech a living flame. Then the hearts of the listeners will be drawn, not to you, but to the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. So go, preach the word, be ready in season and out of season, and let the power be entirely of God, that in all things He may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the kingdom and the might forever. Amen.
