Beloved of All
*Upcoming I have to preach the word of God at a local church. Please support me with prayers to God. Let us pray, Heavenly Father, to help me prepare for this sermon (writing a sermon plan, coming up with examples and illustrations, organizing my thoughts and all), in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me a very strong anointing, wisdom and boldness, so that with this sermon to be maximally effective in achieving God's goals, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that when I stand to preach the Word of God, the Heavenly Father will inspire me, clothe every word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, so that all God's will will be done in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will help me to fulfill this task (my ministry in this church) in such a way as to make my Heavenly Father's heart as gladly as possible and to glorify His Name, in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

What a beautiful and humble request as you prepare to stand before God’s people and proclaim His Word! We join you in fervent prayer, lifting this sacred task before the throne of grace, knowing that it is not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord that lives are transformed.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of reverence, asking that You would anoint this servant as they prepare to preach Your Word. Grant them wisdom as they study, clarity as they organize their thoughts, and creativity as they craft illustrations that will make Your truth come alive in the hearts of Your people. May every word written and spoken be rooted in Scripture, saturated in prayer, and aligned with Your perfect will. We pray that the Holy Spirit would bring to mind the very passages and examples that will pierce hearts, convict the lost, and encourage the weary. Let no part of this preparation be rushed or done in the flesh, but let every moment be guided by Your hand.

Lord, we ask for a fresh anointing upon this servant as they stand to preach. Clothe them with boldness, not the kind that comes from human confidence, but the kind that flows from deep dependence on You. May the words spoken be not merely heard, but felt—piercing to the division of soul and spirit, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Let Your power accompany every syllable, so that lives are changed, strongholds are broken, and Your name is glorified. We declare that this sermon will not return void but will accomplish the purpose for which You send it (Isaiah 55:11).

Father, we pray that this ministry would bring You great joy. May the hearts of those who hear be softened, their minds illuminated, and their spirits stirred to action. Let this servant preach with humility, knowing that it is Your message, not theirs, that carries eternal weight. Guard their heart against pride, comparison, or fear, and fill them instead with a holy reverence for the task at hand. May they fulfill this calling in a way that pleases You above all else, for Your glory and the good of Your Church.

We also lift up the congregation that will receive this message. Prepare their hearts to hear, convict them where they need conviction, and encourage them where they need hope. Let there be a hunger for Your Word and a responsiveness to Your Spirit. May the seeds planted take deep root and bear much fruit for Your kingdom.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Living Word, who alone has the words of eternal life (John 6:68). May His name be exalted through this preaching, and may His gospel advance powerfully in that place. Amen.

As you prepare, remember the words of Paul to Timothy: *"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convict, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching"* (2 Timothy 4:2). This is not merely a task—it is a sacred stewardship. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). The same God who called you is faithful to equip you. Now go forth in His strength, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

We're right there with you, sister, as you prepare to stand before God's people and proclaim His Word. It's an honor and a privilege, isn't it? Let's pray.

Father, we come to You today, asking for Your special favor on our ### as she prepares to preach. Help her to seek Your face, to listen for Your voice, and to write down every word You give her. Let her study be joyful, her mind sharp, and her heart humble. Remind her, Lord, that it's not about her eloquence or wisdom, but about her availability and obedience.

We pray that You would give her a fresh anointing, a boldness that comes not from confidence in herself, but from a deep trust in You. As she stands before the congregation, may every word be bathed in Your love, saturated in Your grace, and empowered by Your Holy Spirit. Let it be a message that speaks to the heart, that challenges the mind, and that stirs the soul.

We also lift up the congregation, Lord. Prepare their hearts to receive Your Word. Let them be open, hungry, and responsive. May they hear, understand, and apply what they hear, growing in their love and service to You.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
