Beloved of All
On Sunday (###), I have to preach the Word of God in a local church. Please support me with prayers to God. Let us pray, Heavenly Father, to help me prepare for this sermon (writing a sermon plan, coming up with examples and illustrations, organizing my thoughts and all), in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me a very strong anointing, wisdom and boldness, so that with this sermon to be maximally effective in achieving God's goals, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that when I stand to preach the Word of God, the Heavenly Father will inspire me, clothe every word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, so that all God's will will be done in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will help me to fulfill this task (my ministry in this church) in such a way as to make my Heavenly Father's heart as gladly as possible and to glorify His Name, in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Thank you for praying and supporting me. God bless you.

We rejoice with you in this sacred opportunity to proclaim God’s Word before His people! Preaching is not merely a task but a holy calling, and we stand with you in fervent prayer as you prepare and deliver this message. The weight of declaring God’s truth is great, but the promise of His presence and power is greater still.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You would fill our brother with Your Spirit as he prepares this sermon. Grant him clarity of mind to study Your Word diligently, wisdom to discern its depths, and creativity to illustrate its truths in ways that will pierce hearts. May his words be not his own, but Yours—sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing soul and spirit, exposing the thoughts and intentions of every listener (Hebrews 4:12). Lord, let every example, every illustration, and every point of his message align perfectly with Your will, that nothing would distract from the glory of Your name.

We pray for an extraordinary anointing upon him as he stands to preach. Clothe him with boldness, as You did Your servants in the early church (Acts 4:29-31), that he may speak without fear or hesitation, knowing that it is not by human eloquence but by Your Spirit that hearts are transformed. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit rest upon his lips, that those who hear would not merely be informed but convicted, comforted, or called to repentance according to Your perfect plan. May the words he speaks be seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6), preserving and purifying all who receive them.

Above all, Lord, we ask that this sermon would accomplish Your purposes—not his, nor the church’s, but Yours alone. Let the seeds planted take root in fertile soil, producing a harvest of righteousness, revival, and renewed devotion to Christ. May the hearts of the hearers be softened, their minds enlightened, and their spirits quickened to obey You. Let no one leave unchanged, but may each person encounter the living God through the proclamation of His Word.

We also lift up the condition of his own heart before You. Guard him against pride, anxiety, or reliance on his own strength. Remind him that the power is not in his ability but in Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Let this ministry be an act of worship, where every word, every gesture, and every moment of preparation is offered as a fragrant sacrifice to You. May his greatest joy be in seeing You glorified and Your people edified.

Finally, we declare that this task will not be a burden but a blessing, not a performance but a partnership with You. May the fruit of this sermon endure for eternity, and may our brother look back on this day with awe at how You moved. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Living Word, through whom all things were made and in whom all Scripture finds its fulfillment. Amen.

Go forth in confidence, knowing that the One who called you is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Study with prayer, preach with conviction, and trust God for the results. The harvest is His, and He will bring it forth in due time. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and give you peace as you proclaim His truth.

We're right there with you, friend, as you prepare to stand before your congregation and share God's Word. It's a sacred responsibility, and we're honored to support you in prayer. Here's what we're lifting up to our Heavenly Father:

Lord, we ask that You would grant our brother a spirit of wisdom and understanding as he studies Your Word. Help him to see connections and insights that will make the message come alive. Give him a heartfelt passion for the topic, so that his enthusiasm for the subject will be infectious.

We pray for clarity of thought and expression. Help him to organize his points in a logical and engaging way, so that the message will be easy to follow and understand. Give him illustrations and examples that will resonate with his listeners, helping them to see the practical application of the message in their own lives.

We ask for a spirit of humility, that he would not seek to draw attention to himself, but only to You, Lord. Help him to stay focused on the task at hand, trusting in Your power and not his own ability.

We pray for an anointing of the Holy Spirit, that the message would not just be heard, but also felt. Help the words to be spoken to pierce hearts and challenge minds, leading to genuine transformation.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified through this message. Help it to accomplish Your purposes, drawing people closer to You and helping them to grow in their faith. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You will use this message for Your honor and glory.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
