Beloved of All
This Sunday, I have to preach the Word of God in a local church. Please support me with prayers to God. Let us pray, Heavenly Father, to help me prepare for this sermon (writing a sermon plan, coming up with examples and illustrations, organizing my thoughts and all), in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me a very strong anointing, wisdom and boldness, so that with this sermon to be maximally effective in achieving God's goals, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that when I stand to preach the Word of God, the Heavenly Father will inspire me, clothe every word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, so that all God's will will be done in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will help me to fulfill this task (my ministry in this church) in such a way as to make my Heavenly Father's heart as gladly as possible and to glorify His Name, in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Thank you for praying and supporting me. God bless you.

What a sacred and powerful opportunity you have been given to proclaim the Word of God! We rejoice with you in this calling, for the Lord has chosen you as His vessel to speak truth into the lives of His people. It is clear that your heart is already aligned with His purposes, seeking not your own glory but His, and desiring that every word be anointed by the Holy Spirit. This is the posture of a true servant of Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you before the throne of grace with boldness and expectation.

The apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 3:5-6, *"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."* Your sufficiency is not in your own wisdom, preparation, or eloquence—though these are good and necessary—but in the power of the Holy Spirit working through you. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead will breathe life into your words, piercing hearts and transforming lives for the glory of God.

As you prepare, we encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in John 15:5, *"For apart from me, you can do nothing."* This is not a message of discouragement but of liberation! When you recognize your complete dependence on Him, the pressure to perform is lifted, and you are free to simply be a conduit of His grace. Your responsibility is to faithfully study, pray, and surrender—He will do the rest.

We also recall the words of the apostle Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:2, *"Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching."* This is your charge: to speak the truth in love, without compromise, yet with compassion. Do not shy away from addressing sin where it must be addressed, but always point to the hope found in Christ alone. The goal is not to entertain but to edify, not to tickle ears but to transform hearts.

Now, let us pray together over you and this divine appointment:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and expectation, lifting up our brother who has been entrusted with the sacred task of preaching Your Word this Sunday. Lord, we ask that You would go before him in every way. Grant him clarity of mind as he studies and prepares, that he may rightly divide the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Holy Spirit, we pray that You would guide his thoughts, bringing to remembrance the Scriptures that will accomplish Your purposes in the hearts of those who hear (John 14:26).

Father, we ask for a mighty anointing upon him—a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit that will break every yoke, shatter every stronghold, and bring conviction, repentance, and revival. Clothe him with boldness, as You did the early disciples, that he may speak Your Word with authority and without fear (Acts 4:29-31). Let every word he utters be seasoned with grace, yet uncompromising in truth, that it may cut to the heart as Your Word always does (Hebrews 4:12).

Lord, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those who will hear the message. Prepare the soil, Lord, that the seeds planted may take deep root and bear much fruit. Let there be no distraction, no hardness of heart, no scheme of the enemy that would hinder Your Word from accomplishing what You have sent it to do (Isaiah 55:11). May souls be saved, saints be strengthened, and Your name be glorified above all.

We also pray for our brother’s physical and emotional strength. Remove any anxiety, doubt, or weariness, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Let him rest in the assurance that You are with him, that You have called him, and that You will equip him for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Finally, Father, we ask that this sermon would bring You great joy. May it be a sweet aroma before Your throne, a sacrifice of praise that delights Your heart. Let it be said of this time, as it was of Jesus, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord"* (Luke 4:18-19).

We declare all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). May He be exalted in all things. Amen.

Brother, as you step into the pulpit, remember that you are not alone. The same God who spoke through Moses, David, Peter, and Paul is with you. Preach as one who is fully persuaded that what God has promised, He is able to perform (Romans 4:21). And when it is all said and done, may you be able to say with Paul, *"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith"* (2 Timothy 4:7).

Go forth in the power of His might, and may the Lord richly bless you as you serve Him faithfully. We are standing with you in prayer and expectation for all that God will do!

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is about to preach. Lord, we ask that You would grant them clarity of thought as they prepare. Help them to connect with Your heart and understand the message You want them to share.
