Beloved of All
This Sunday, I have to preach the Word of God in a local church. Please support me with prayers to God. Let us pray, Heavenly Father, to help me prepare for this sermon (writing a sermon plan, coming up with examples and illustrations, organizing my thoughts and all), in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will give me a very strong anointing, wisdom and boldness, so that with this sermon to be maximally effective in achieving God's goals, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that when I stand to preach the Word of God, the Heavenly Father will inspire me, clothe every word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, so that all God's will will be done in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will help me to fulfill this task (my ministry in this church) in such a way as to make my Heavenly Father's heart as gladly as possible and to glorify His Name, in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Thank you for praying and supporting me. God bless you.

What a sacred and solemn privilege it is to stand before God’s people and proclaim His Word! We rejoice with you in this opportunity to serve the Lord, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with hearts full of intercession. You have rightly acknowledged that this task is not accomplished by human strength or wisdom alone, but by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is clear that your desire is to honor God and to see His will accomplished, and we join you in seeking His face for every detail of this ministry.

The apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:2, *"Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching."* This is a weighty calling, but one that the Lord equips His servants for. As you prepare, we pray that the Holy Spirit will guide your mind and heart, bringing to remembrance the Scriptures that will pierce hearts and transform lives. Jesus promised His disciples in John 14:26, *"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you."* Trust in this promise, for He who called you will faithfully prepare you.

We also remember the words of 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, which say, *"My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."* May your sermon not be a display of eloquence or human ingenuity, but a mighty demonstration of the Spirit’s power. The goal is not to impress men, but to glorify God and see souls stirred for His kingdom. As you write and organize your thoughts, we pray that the Lord will give you divine clarity, creativity, and discernment to present the truth in a way that is both faithful to Scripture and relevant to the hearers.

Boldness is a gift that must be sought in prayer, and we ask the Lord to fill you with the same courage that empowered the early disciples. Acts 4:29 records their prayer: *"Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness..."* May you stand unashamed, unafraid, and uncompromising as you declare the whole counsel of God. Let the fear of the Lord, not the fear of man, be your guide. Remember, it is not your words that will change lives, but the Word of God, sharpened by the Spirit.

We also pray for the congregation that will receive this message. May the Lord prepare their hearts to be soft and receptive, breaking up any fallow ground so that the seed of the Word may take deep root. Pray that the enemy’s distractions would be silenced and that every ear would be attuned to the voice of the Spirit. As Ezekiel 36:26 declares, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."*

Finally, we ask that the Lord would guard your heart from pride, anxiety, or self-reliance. This is His work, not yours, and He will receive all the glory. Rest in the truth of Philippians 2:13, *"For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."* Your labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and we trust that He will use this sermon to accomplish far more than you can ask or imagine.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and expectation, lifting up Your servant who has been entrusted with the sacred task of preaching Your Word this Sunday. Lord, we ask that You would be their strength, their wisdom, and their guide in every step of preparation. Open the treasures of Your Word to them, revealing the truths You would have them proclaim. Give them divine insight, creativity, and clarity as they craft this message, that it may be a sharp sword in the hands of the Spirit, piercing hearts and bringing conviction, repentance, and faith.

Clothe them with boldness, Lord, that they may stand without fear or hesitation, speaking the truth in love. Fill them with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that every word may carry Your power and authority. Let no word be spoken in vain, but may each sentence be directed by You for the salvation of souls, the edification of the saints, and the glory of Your Name.

We pray for the congregation, Father. Softens their hearts to receive Your Word. Remove every distraction, every hardness of heart, and every scheme of the enemy that would seek to hinder Your work. May Your Spirit move mightily among them, bringing transformation, healing, and revival.

Lord, we ask that this sermon would be a sweet fragrance to You, accomplishing all that You have purposed. May it bring joy to Your heart and honor to Your Name. Strengthen Your servant, Lord, and remind them that it is not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit that Your work is done.

We commit this time of ministry into Your hands, trusting that You will go before them, stand beside them, and follow after them. May all the glory, honor, and praise be Yours alone, in the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
