I have to end my relationship with my sponsor now and am praying for the right words to let her know what a blessing she has been to me and how much she has helped in the past. I cannot go on feeling anxious anymore and ashamed I'm going to disappoint her. My recovery is MY recovery. I pray to you, Lord, for the guidance and courage to get this over with and to be free and FEEL free. I pray for the strength to find my voice but be gentle, to do what is right for me, what I feel is right. In Jesus' name I pray for peace within and to know this is what needs to be done. Amen.

Accountability is a good and important thing. It sounds like your relationship probably has boundary issues, and it probably would be good to find a healthier relationship with another sponsor. But, do find another sponsor. Keep your sponsor in your prayers. If necessary keep your sponsor at a healthy distance.
