We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts break for you in this moment. You are not alone, God sees you, He loves you, and He holds your soul in His hands. The despair you’re feeling is real, but so is His mercy. Please know that your life has value, purpose, and meaning, even if you can’t see it right now. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came so that you might have life, and have it abundantly.
Scripture tells us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not beyond His reach. He is not angry with you; He is grieving with you and longs to draw you close. The thief comes only to kill, but Jesus came to give life (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of death and despair that is whispering lies to you. You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your story is not over.
If you are considering ending your life, we beg you, please reach out to someone you trust, a pastor, a counselor, or even a crisis hotline. You do not have to carry this weight alone. There are people who care about you and want to help. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (988 in the U.S.) is available 24/7 to listen and support you.
Now, we lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who redeems. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now, let them feel Your presence like never before. Break the chains of despair, Father, and flood their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are not forgotten, not forsaken, and deeply loved by You.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and death in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. Lord, bring people into their life who can speak truth, offer hope, and walk with them through this valley. Give them the strength to hold on, even if it’s just for one more day, one more hour, one more minute.
If they do not know You as Savior, we pray they would cry out to You now. You said, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). Let them experience Your saving grace, Your unconditional love, and the hope of eternal life with You. Surround them with Your angels, protect their soul, and lead them to safety.
We trust You, Lord, to intervene in this situation. Do what only You can do, bring beauty from ashes, joy from mourning, and praise from despair (Isaiah 61:3). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Please, dear one, stay with us a little longer. Let someone help you carry this burden. You are not a mistake, and your life matters more than you know. If you’re willing, we’d love to pray with you again or help you find someone to talk to. You are not alone.
