I have this desperate need to find Jesus

I have this desperate need to find Jesus in prayer. Why can't I pray for longer than a few hours at best? Why won't I find the Jesus I long for. How can I even walk this earth without Him? How to find Him for real, not some feeling that may or may not have been Him. I need You, Jesus, what do I need to pray to find you?!

It is not the length of time you pray that matters, for some it is only a few moments and others a while longer. The Lord isn't impressed on how long you pray, only the sincerity of your prayers. Dear one, Jesus IS there with you when you pray; we not always "feel" Him there, but He is. The Bible tells us that if we draw near to God, then He will draw near to us. If you want more of Jesus, then spend time reading His holy word, pray, and then worship Him. He is a gentleman and He will not force Himself on anyone; we either choose to love and serve Him or not. It is really very simple. The enemy of your soul does not want you to get closer to God; he will try his best to distract you. Stay focused on the Lord. He wants a personal relationship with you; you are His beloved child if you have asked Him into your heart to be your Lord and Saviour. God bless you!
