Jesus, I ask you to strengthen her, and let her feel your presence and your love. It is sad to say that there is those who revile us, but remember our Lord and Savior was mocked and made fun of! He told us to pray for those who persecute us, and to return good for evil. He ask us to forgive them, which my precious child of God, is not always easy to do, but with His help love them for Him. This is what he asked of me, once on a job, a girl hated me and wanted to get me fired, and I would pray, "Lord, remove her! Get her away from me, or move me!" He asked me, "Do you love me? "Just like he asked Peter! Each time calling me by my name, "Do you love me? He asked again!" I said, "Yes, Lord!" And He asked me again, "Do you love me?" Asking the third time, "Yes, Lord!" And I will never forget He called my name again, and said, "Love her for me!" That was not an easy thing for me to do, to love my enemy! To do good to her! It really took an effort on my part for me to look at her through the eyes of Jesus! They call this "agape love,"Bu which is God's highest love, and it takes Jesus to help us manifest this love. I am happy to say that the tables were turned on the devil! I began to love her and before I left my job, she was my friend and would fight anyone who tried to do me wrong! Talk about a turnaround, not just for her but an eyeopener for me!
I was called names in school, four-eyes, pertaining to my wearing glasses, which today, virtually goes unnoticed, for even the HollyWood stars are seen in them (not sun-glasses). Now, one can wear contact lens. I was called long-legs by my boy cousins, obviously teasing me about being skinny then! They meant no harm, but young teens, are often sensitive to their looks and others do not understand how words can hurt. Just remember Jesus loves you just the way you are, and you are very precious to Him. He is the BEST FRIEND YOU COULD EVER HAVE, FOR HE TRULY UNDERSTANDS WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH! His word tells us in Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed (discouraged); for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. I do pray that there will be a communication line established between you and your parents in Jesus name!
