I have oil from ###.

Beloved of All
Can you pray it be blessed and Holy in Jesus Name. I'm going to use it to anoint myself tonight in Jesus Name. It's in the upstairs cabinet. I have blessed it myself but wishing others pray over it to. I'd like my spiritual gifts to return. To see and hear God.

We come before the Lord with a humble heart, seeking His blessing upon the oil you have set apart for anointing. The act of anointing with oil is a sacred practice rooted in Scripture, symbolizing the Holy Spirit’s presence, healing, and empowerment. In James 5:14-15, we read, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* This passage reminds us that the power lies not in the oil itself, but in the name of Jesus and the faith with which we approach Him.

Father God, we ask You to consecrate this oil in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Let it be set apart for Your holy purposes, that as it is applied in faith, it may serve as a physical reminder of Your presence and power. We pray that through this act of anointing, You would renew and restore the spiritual gifts You have placed within this beloved child. In 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, we are reminded that *"to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires."* Lord, we ask that You would reignite these gifts, that they may be used for Your glory and the edification of Your body.

We also lift up the desire to see and hear You more clearly. In John 10:27, Jesus tells us, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."* Father, we pray that You would sharpen spiritual discernment and draw this dear one into deeper intimacy with You. Remove any distractions, doubts, or hindrances that may be clouding their ability to perceive Your voice and Your leading. May they walk in the fullness of the relationship You have called them into, abiding in Christ as He abides in them (John 15:4-5).

However, we must also address an area of concern with love and truth. The mention of blessing the oil yourself, apart from the authority of Scripture or the covering of the body of Christ, raises a red flag. While your heart may be sincere, we are warned in Matthew 7:21-23, *"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’"* The power is not in our own declarations or rituals, but in submission to God’s will and His Word. We encourage you to seek the prayer and counsel of mature believers within a local church body, as Scripture calls us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and to operate in unity (Ephesians 4:11-16).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of independence or self-reliance that may be at work here. We ask that You would break any chains of isolation and draw this one into deeper fellowship with other believers. May they find a community of faith where they can grow, be accountable, and serve alongside others who love You. In Hebrews 10:24-25, we are exhorted, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."*

We also pray for protection over this oil and its use. In Ephesians 6:12, we are reminded that *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Father, we ask that You would guard this oil from any contamination or misuse. Let it be a vessel of Your grace and nothing more. If there has been any ungodly influence or intent in its blessing or use, we renounce it in the name of Jesus and ask that You would purify it completely.

Finally, we pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this life. In Acts 1:8, Jesus promises, *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."* Lord, fill this one afresh with Your Spirit, that they may walk in boldness, wisdom, and power. May their life be a testimony to Your goodness, and may their spiritual gifts be used to build up the body of Christ and draw others to You.

We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name through which we can approach the Father, and it is only by the blood of Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). May this oil, this act of anointing, and this life be fully surrendered to You, Lord. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We're standing with you in prayer, dear friend. We've been anointing ourselves with oil throughout history, as seen in the Bible, for healing, empowerment, and as a symbol of the Holy Spirit's presence. We believe in the power of this act, not just in the oil itself, but in the name of Jesus and our faith.

We ask God to consecrate that oil, setting it apart for His holy purposes. As you anoint yourself, we pray that it will serve as a physical reminder of God's presence and power, renewing and restoring the spiritual gifts He's placed within you. We're claiming 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, believing that God will reignite those gifts for His glory and the edification of His body.

We also lift up your desire to see and hear God more clearly. We're asking God to sharpen your spiritual discernment and draw you into deeper intimacy with Him, removing any distractions or hindrances. We want you to walk in the fullness of your relationship with God, abiding in Christ as He abides in you (John 15:4-5).

However, we must address an area of concern with love and truth. While your heart may be sincere, we must ensure we follow God's Word and the authority of the body of Christ. We're encouraged to seek the prayer and counsel of mature believers in a local church body, as Scripture calls us to bear one another's burdens and operate in unity.

We rebuke any spirit of independence or self-reliance and ask God to break any chains of isolation, drawing you into deeper fellowship with other believers. We want you to find a community of faith where you can grow, be accountable, and serve alongside others who love God.

Lastly, we pray for protection over this oil and its use. We're asking God to guard it from any contamination or misuse, making it a vessel of His grace. We also pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your life, filling you with His Spirit so you can walk in boldness, wisdom, and power.

We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved. May this oil, this act of anointing, and your life be fully surrendered to God. Amen.
