I have not reconsidered my faith and concluded that Jesus is not worth it

We hear the deep struggle in your words, and our hearts are heavy for you. The very fact that you are expressing this doubt tells us the Holy Spirit is still at work in you, for even in questioning, you are engaging with the truth of Christ. Let us remind you of what Scripture declares: *"Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through him"* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and He alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and devotion.

Your feelings may be telling you that following Jesus is not "worth it," but we urge you to test those feelings against the unchanging truth of God’s Word. Consider what Jesus Himself said: *"For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"* (Mark 8:36-37, WEB). The world offers temporary pleasures, comforts, and distractions, but Jesus offers eternal life, forgiveness of sins, and a relationship with the Creator of the universe. He is not just *worth it*—He is the only thing that ultimately matters.

We also sense that there may be wounds, disappointments, or unmet expectations that have led you to this place. Perhaps you have faced trials that have made you question God’s goodness, or maybe you have seen hypocrisy in others who claim to follow Christ. But listen to what Jesus says to those who are weary: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). He does not promise a life free from hardship, but He promises to walk with you through it, to carry your burdens, and to give you peace that surpasses understanding.

If you have never fully surrendered your life to Jesus, we plead with you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you once walked closely with Him but have drifted, return to your first love. Repent of any hardness of heart, and ask Him to renew your faith. He is faithful, even when we are faithless (2 Timothy 2:13).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You alone can draw them back to Yourself. Lord, we ask that You open their eyes to see the truth of who Jesus is—the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the Lamb who was slain for our sins, and the King who reigns forever. Holy Spirit, convict their heart and remind them of the hope they have in Christ. Break down every lie of the enemy that says Jesus is not worth it, and replace it with the truth that He is the greatest treasure we could ever know.

Father, if there is bitterness, disappointment, or unbelief in their heart, we ask that You would soften it and restore their joy in salvation. Help them to remember the day they first encountered Your love, and reignite in them a passion to follow You wholeheartedly. Surround them with believers who will encourage them, speak truth to them, and walk with them in this season.

We declare that Jesus is worthy—worthy of all praise, all devotion, and all surrender. May this dear one experience Your presence in a fresh and powerful way, and may they choose today to cling to You above all else. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We strongly encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, even if it’s just a few verses. Start with the Gospel of John to reacquaint yourself with the life and teachings of Jesus. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and encouraged by other believers. And if you are willing, share with us what specific struggles or doubts are weighing on you so we can pray more specifically. You are not alone in this, and we are here to walk with you in faith. Jesus is worth it—He is worth everything.

We've been thinking about you and your journey, and we want you to know that we're here for you. It's okay to have doubts, to question, to struggle. It's part of being human, and it's part of our walk with Jesus. We've been there too, you know.

We remember when we felt like Jesus wasn't worth it. The world seemed to offer so much more, and our hearts felt heavy with unanswered questions and hurts. But then we remembered what Jesus said, "What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" (Mark 8:36) He's not just worth it, He's the only thing that truly matters.

We've found that when we're honest with God, He meets us right where we are. He doesn't shy away from our doubts or our pain. In fact, He invites us to come to Him with all our burdens. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) He promises rest, not a life free from hardship, but a life where He walks with us through it all.

So, we're praying for you today. We're asking God to open your eyes to see Jesus for who He really is - our Savior, our Friend, our King. We're asking Him to convict your heart and remind you of the hope you have in Him. And we're asking Him to surround you with people who will encourage you, speak truth to you, and walk with you in this season.

Remember, Jesus is worthy. He's worthy of all our praise, all our devotion, all our surrender. And He's worth it. He's worth everything.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you up in prayer during this time of deep wrestling and honest seeking. Your words carry the weight of a heart that is earnestly searching, and we are grateful you chose to share this burden with us so we could stand alongside you before the throne of grace. The fact that you have not turned away—even in the midst of such raw questioning—speaks to the Holy Spirit’s faithful work in your life, even when the path feels unclear.

We have been praying fervently that God would meet you in this place of honesty, that He would draw near to you with His presence in ways you can tangibly sense, and that He would replace doubt with a deeper, unshakable assurance of His love and worthiness. The enemy would love nothing more than to isolate you in this struggle, but you are not alone—we are here, the Body of Christ is here, and most importantly, Jesus Himself is interceding for you (Hebrews 7:25). He is not offended by your questions; He invites them, just as He did with Thomas, with the father who cried, *"I believe; help my unbelief!"* (Mark 9:24), and with so many others in Scripture who wrestled in the dark before seeing the light.

If the Lord has begun to shift the heaviness you’re carrying—whether through a renewed sense of His nearness, a scripture that has come alive, or even just a glimmer of hope—we would love to rejoice with you. Share your praise report so we can give glory to God together for His faithfulness. And if this season of questioning still feels unresolved, we urge you not to retreat in silence. Post your request again, as many times as needed, so we can continue to surround you in prayer. Sometimes the breakthrough comes in the persistent seeking (Luke 11:9-10), and we are committed to seeking alongside you.

May the God of all comfort wrap you in His peace as you continue to press into Him. May He remind you that faith is not the absence of questions, but the choice to keep bringing them to Jesus. And may you sense, even now, the gentle whisper of the Spirit affirming what your heart longs to believe: *He is worth it. You are loved. And He is not letting go.*

We are still praying for you in Jesus’ name.
