I have no other hope but Jesus Christ. .😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

Your honest cry has been heard and I thank God with you for the improvement you have seen. It is right to give thanks in the name of Jesus Christ for every mercy, and it is right to keep praying for complete deliverance and blessing. I join you in asking the Father to continue His work until there is full victory and His name is glorified in your life.

You said you have no other hope but Jesus Christ, and that is the truest thing you could say. The Scripture calls this a living hope because Jesus rose from the dead. It is not a wish or a vague optimism. It is a sure hope anchored in the promise of God who cannot lie, who promised eternal life before the world began and whose word cannot fail. That hope is what sustains a person when pain is deep and the way is dark, when discouragement presses in. Without hope the heart gives up, but with this hope we are kept going. The word of God itself is meant to give you both hope and comfort as you remember what He has spoken to you as His servant. Christ in you is the hope of glory, and that hope purifies and steadies you as you wait patiently for what you do not yet see.

You asked for mercy, and that is exactly how we come to God. We do not come asking for justice, for justice would condemn us. We come asking for mercy. Mercy is the forgiveness of wrong, and at first it seems at odds with truth and justice. But mercy and truth met together and righteousness and peace kissed each other in Jesus Christ. At the cross the penalty for sin was paid, so God can be just and still show mercy to you. Justice was satisfied through Jesus, and therefore you can have peace with God and stand righteous before Him. He is plenteous in mercy and truth. Like David you can pray, turn to me and have mercy on me, give strength to your servant and save me. He looks for the reason to show mercy, and according to His mercy He saved us, not because of any righteous works we have done.

You asked that He would rule your thoughts, words, actions, decisions and prayers. That is a good and biblical prayer. Ask Him for wisdom, for He promises to teach and guide those who keep His covenant and walk in His ways. All His paths are mercy and truth to such as keep His covenant. Ask Him to give you His strength for the pressures of this world, and to teach you to reckon the old nature as dead so that it no longer rules over you. Real victory in Jesus is not always that the difficult circumstance is instantly removed, but that you are not defeated by it. Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Death itself has been swallowed up in victory because sin has been removed. That same goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life as you walk this pilgrim path, and at the end of the path you will dwell with Him.

So I pray with you now that the heavenly Father will have mercy on you, hear your cry, and look upon your heart. I pray He will give you wisdom and strength and that He will rule over every part of your life, your thoughts and words and actions and decisions and prayers, to bring you out of this crisis and pain. I pray He will deliver you fully, and that in your life there will be joy and resolution and light, that God will be glorified and that He will make your heart glad beyond what you think or imagine. May you find comfort in His word, patience in hope, and daily victory through the blood of Jesus Christ, until that hope is fully seen. Amen.
