Actually, I have been going through something similar lately. Of course I don't know and understand exactly what it is that happened to you, but I can relate to feelings of loss, depression, and hopelessness. However, please do not lose heart. Despite feeling that prayer hasn't helped, I can see that you're still persevering, which is good. We are to pray consistently, so please, no matter what, don't give up too soon. Also remember that tribulations like this often bring about good qualities like patience and increased faith. It's hard to understand God's timing but He knows what's best for us... As I understand, we can have assurance that God will answer our prayers as long as it is aligned with His will. I believe that He has a plan for your life, which is why you're still alive. Even if you feel that you don't want to live, I believe that He can restore your life according to His perfect will. Nothing is too great for Him and He hears all of our prayers.
I will pray that God will give you guidance and peace in this time. He has given me peace when I was in distress, and I believe He can do the same for you.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28.
