I have been working for the Gov't of Manitoba as a term employee for almost two years now this coming December 20th. I was told that I will become permanent when I reach my 2nd year but I was promoted in an acting position as a Financial Analyst for 1 year until April 16, 2013. So this is where it gets complicated, as per the collective agreeement, term employees will be convereted to a permanent status after 24 consecutive months in the same position... I have talked to my executive director regarding this matter. Please pray that my executive director will deal with this issue and fight that I become permanent this December.
