Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of ###. Lord, we lift up ###'s struggle with drinking and the pain that they are experiencing. We acknowledge that turning to alcohol to cope with hurt is not the right path, and we ask for your guidance and strength to overcome this temptation.
Father, we pray for clarity and wisdom regarding ###'s relationship with ###. Help ### discern your will and understand what you desire for their life. Grant them the courage to seek your guidance and follow your leading in this situation.
Lord, we know that you are a God who heals and restores. We ask for your healing touch upon ###'s heart and emotions. Comfort them in their pain and grant them the strength to surrender their hurts to you. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We claim this promise for ### and ask for your divine intervention in their life.
Father, we pray that you would fill ### with your Holy Spirit, replacing the desire for alcohol with a deep hunger for your presence and your Word. Help them to find solace and peace in you alone. May they experience the joy and freedom that comes from surrendering their pain to you.
We also ask for a supportive community around ###, filled with people who will encourage and uplift them in their journey towards healing and obedience to your will. Surround them with individuals who will speak truth and love into their life.
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We trust that you will guide ### through this difficult time and bring them into a place of healing and restoration. May your will be done in their life, and may they find comfort and strength in knowing that you are with them every step of the way.
