We lift you up together before our heavenly Father and we thank you for reaching out so we can seek His will with you in Jesus' name. We hear your heart, that you are living with AIDS and you feel trapped where you are and you are longing for escape and for hope about your future and your relationship and whether you can marry in two years.

We want you to know that God sees you and loves you deeply and He is not distant from your suffering. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Even when we feel trapped, He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray for your health and we ask God for His mercy and healing touch upon your body. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also encourage you to continue to seek good medical care and to follow the wisdom of doctors, for God often brings healing and strength through the resources He has provided, and we pray He will give you strength and peace each day as you walk through this. James 5:15 says the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We also pray for your situation of feeling trapped. We do not know all the details of what holds you there, but God knows. We pray He will open a door for escape in His perfect timing and way, and that He will surround you with safe, godly people who can help you, whether pastors, counselors, or trusted authorities. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. We pray for His protection and guidance and for wisdom to take the next right step.

You shared that you are in a relationship and you hope to marry in two years. We pray with you for a marriage that honors God, and we want to encourage you in biblical truth about this. We believe marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman designed by God, and it is to be held in honor. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. Courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers. If this relationship is between a man and a woman who both love Jesus, then waiting two years can be a wise and good time to build your foundation on Christ, to seek counsel, to grow in purity and in preparation for a godly marriage. If there is any sexual intimacy outside of marriage, God calls us to turn from it, for 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality, and to pursue purity before marriage so that your future marriage can begin on a foundation of obedience and blessing. We pray that you both will encourage one another toward holiness and that you will seek pastoral counsel together as you discern marriage.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to share gently that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and hope for salvation and eternal life. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to put your full trust in Jesus Christ, to confess your sins to Him and to receive His forgiveness and new life.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the burden of this illness and the feeling of being trapped, and You know the desires of the heart regarding marriage. We ask for Your healing touch, for comfort, for strength, and for peace that surpasses understanding. Provide a way of escape where there seems to be none and bring trustworthy help and protection. Guide this relationship, Lord, that it would be centered on You, pure, and moving toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman if it is Your will, and give wisdom for these next two years to prepare well. Draw this dear one close to Jesus, assure them of Your love and forgiveness, and help them to walk in hope and obedience. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and our hope, amen.

We hear how heavy this feels, feeling trapped with this illness and carrying questions about your relationship and future marriage. Thank you for letting us pray with you so honestly.

Living with HIV can bring a lot of fear, stigma, and loneliness, and it makes sense you would long for escape and for hope about what comes next. You are not alone in this, and you are deeply valued by God as you walk through it.

We want to encourage you to stay connected to steady care while we pray. If you have a doctor, clinic, or counselor you trust, please reach out to them soon for ongoing support and guidance about your health and your questions about marriage timing. Having faithful medical care alongside prayer and wise pastoral counsel can help you make clear, unhurried decisions for the next two years and beyond. If you do not have that support yet, a local pastor or trusted Christian counselor who knows you personally can walk with you step by step.

We are praying for your strength day by day, for wisdom as you think about the future, and for supportive people around you who will listen well and care for you consistently.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. You see where he feels trapped and You know his hopes for healing and for marriage. Give him peace, good care, and clear wisdom for each decision ahead. Surround him with kind, trustworthy help and remind him he is not forgotten. Lead him gently in Your will. Amen.

Your cry has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, for you feel trapped and wearied in the length of your way and you long for escape. Know this, there is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. While Jehovah lives the mourner need not despair, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

We have prayed for you that you may know both kinds of healing which are in Christ. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His blood is the ransom which delivers from going down to the pit. God has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Jesus Christ who was slain, and through His shed blood there is remission of sins and a hope that will not wither. If you have not yet cast yourself wholly upon Him, do so now, confessing your sin and trusting Him alone for salvation, for without the shedding of blood there is no remission, and there is no other way of deliverance that God has provided.

We have also prayed for your body in this affliction. The Lord is able to show mercy in sickness and to give wisdom to physicians, so seek faithful medical care and walk in obedience to their counsel while you look to the Sun of Righteousness who alone can rise with healing beneath His wings. Do not listen to the arrow that says God’s ear is shut and He will never move His arm to work deliverance for you. He has delivered His people from worse enemies than these, and He is able to make your deliverance effectual as you wait upon Him.

Concerning your relationship and your question about marriage two years from now, we will pray for you but we will not ask God to bless what He has not called holy. In Scripture marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the bed is to be kept pure within that covenant. Sex and living together belong only within marriage. If you are living together or walking in impurity, turn from it in repentance and seek the cleansing that comes through faith in Christ. A desire to marry is good when it is ordered according to God’s design, and waiting a season can be wise if it is used to seek counsel, to grow in holiness, to practice purity, to be fully honest with one another including about your health, and to have the blessing of godly pastors and families who know you both. Bring your plans into the light, flee all that is outside marriage, and let your courtship be marked by chastity and truth.

Take these steps as you wait upon the Lord. Put your mouth in the dust in humble confession before God, trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone to save you, walk in daily repentance, separate from all impurity, seek a faithful pastor for counsel and accountability, continue under proper medical care, and be open and truthful with the one you hope to marry so that no deception remains between you.

We now pray for you. O Lord, Thou who didst deliver Israel when the lamb was slain, deliver this soul from going down to the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ, heal the broken heart, grant help in bodily affliction, break every trap and give a way of escape according to Thy will, and lead into paths of purity and truth. Give a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ, and if it be Thy will to lead to marriage, let it be holy, between one man and one woman, in covenant before Thee, entered with honesty and self control. Keep this one and make Thy face to shine upon him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we are praying for you in this time of trial. You have shared that you feel trapped and burdened by illness and you are longing for escape and for hope about the future, including your relationship and the question of marriage. God sees your suffering and hears your cry, and we bring you before Him with compassion.

We pray first for your salvation and your hope in Christ. The good things God has promised are great, and we do not receive them all at once in this life. What He asks of us now is hope and patience, to trust Him with confidence for what is to come and to wait with endurance. Even when the body is weak and afflicted, He can give strength to the soul to persevere, to keep His commandments, and to have a godly mind and sound judgment. We ask Him to deliver you from every evil and to grant you peace as you hope in Him.

For your illness, we pray for mercy, for healing according to His will, for strength each day, and for wisdom for those caring for you. We encourage you to continue to seek faithful medical care and to walk honestly with your doctors, and to let your church family support you in practical ways as well as in prayer. Do not lose heart. God crowns those who endure with patience, and He provides help to the weary soul that hopes in Him.

Concerning your relationship and your question about marriage in two years, we want to answer you with truth and care. Marriage is a bond ordained by God, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. It is honorable and to be adorned with chasteness, gravity and orderliness. For that reason, sex and living together belong only within marriage, and what is outside that covenant does not reflect His design. We will not ask God to bless what is outside His will, but we do pray that He will lead you into what is holy and good.

If you are considering marriage, that desire itself can be good, but it should be pursued in the right way. This means choosing chastity now, seeking godly counsel from mature believers and from your pastor, being fully honest with the other person about your health, and seeking medical wisdom together. A decision about timing, including whether two years is wise, needs much prayer, counsel, and honesty, and a commitment to keep yourselves pure until you enter that covenant. True friendship and love are formed most securely on godliness, not only on affection or circumstance.

We pray for you now:

Father, have mercy on this dear soul who feels trapped. Grant forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and give a godly mind that speaks and lives according to Your word. Grant patience in suffering, hope for what is not yet seen, and strength to keep Your commandments. Lay Your healing hand upon the body according to Your will, guide the hands of those who provide care, and deliver from every evil. Give wisdom concerning this relationship, grant chasteness and clarity, and lead toward marriage only as it can be entered in holiness, honesty and lifelong faithfulness. Help to wait with patience and to trust Your goodness. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to stay connected to a local church, to share openly with a trusted pastor, and to let others walk with you in prayer and counsel.
