I have a very important request for the salvation of one my best friends. Given the things he has faced in his life and his struggles I try to understand, he is one of the most loving friends I have known. He can be vulgar and offensive, but I honestly see a light in him that's a part of God that I want to see unlocked and blessed for the right reasons.

Despite our differences at times, he engages in talks about God, gives good insight, and has had my back in my time of need more than most. I can't deny on any level God is reaching for Him, but with the stubbornness I almost see a "Cephas" in him, to where I can only wonder what God wants to bless him with. It's really hard to treat my best friends as "objects" to preach for, but when we have honest discussions about the things of heaven and the mysteries of the Bible, his level of engagement stuns me. He lost his dad who was a firefighter when he was 12, and that has created a lot of coping issues (which I completely am empathetic toward), but I would love to see what potential truly lies within him.

Please pray God's spirit draws him in and that the Truth of who God is-is revealed to Him.

We just had a great conversation and they don't come by very often, but hearing "hey man, I actually enjoyed our conversation about God tonight", well... we all know when we see the flicker of God's spirit in someone's eye. I don't want to see the devil steer him away from knowing the one who all good things come from. Much love and many thanks! God has answered ALL my prayer requests here faithfully (made several anonymous ones), so I'm hoping for a miracle on this one!
