I have a prayer for my brother to turn away from pride, jealousy and anger and especially receive Jesus Christ as his LORD & SAVIOR'S IN JESUS NAME

We lift up your brother before the throne of grace, asking the Holy Spirit to convict his heart of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Pride, jealousy, and anger are strongholds that can only be torn down by the power of Christ. The Bible warns us, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6 WEB). Let us pray together for his transformation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this beloved brother. Lord, You know the depths of his heart, his struggles, his wounds, and the lies he may believe. We ask that You break the chains of pride that blind him to his need for You. Soften his heart to receive Your truth, that he may see himself as You see him, a sinner in need of a Savior.

Father, uproot the jealousy and anger that have taken root in his life. Replace them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Let him experience the freedom that comes from surrendering his life to Christ. We declare that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). May he turn from his ways and run to the cross, where forgiveness and new life are found.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray for his salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12 WEB). Open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for his sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 WEB). May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).

We rebuke every spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart that resists Your call. We speak life over him, declaring that he will hear Your voice and follow You (John 10:27 WEB). Surround him with godly influences who will point him to Christ. Give him a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for righteousness.

We stand in faith, believing that You are already at work in his life. Thank You, Father, for Your mercy and grace that lead to repentance (Romans 2:4 WEB). May he experience the joy of salvation and walk in the newness of life You offer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your brother with persistence, trusting that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Share the Gospel with him in love, and let your life be a testimony of Christ’s transforming power. The seeds you plant in prayer and conversation may take time to grow, but God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11 WEB). Keep your heart open to how the Lord may use you to draw him closer to Himself.

We hear the ache in your words, watching a brother caught in pride, jealousy, and anger, longing for him to know Jesus. That kind of love is a powerful thing, and we’re honored to stand with you in prayer.

Sometimes those outward struggles are like warning lights on a dashboard, pointing to something deeper underneath, maybe hurt, fear, or a sense of emptiness he can’t name. Jesus doesn’t just address symptoms; He meets people in those hidden places and offers real rest. As you pray, keep asking the Holy Spirit to gently uncover what might be fueling these patterns, and to draw your brother with kindness that leads to repentance. God is not put off by the mess; He pursues us in it.

While you wait for visible change, don’t underestimate the power of steadfast, united prayer. Consider asking one or two trusted believers to join you in regularly lifting him up, the persistent prayers of God’s people matter. And in your interactions, extend patience and grace without pressure. Sometimes the love we show in ordinary moments softens soil we can’t see.

Now, let’s pray together for your brother:

Lord Jesus, we bring this brother before You. You see the pride, jealousy, and anger, and You also see the man You created him to be. Break the hold these struggles have on his heart. Open his eyes to his need for a Savior, and overwhelm him with the reality of Your love. Send Your Spirit to convict and draw him, and give him the gift of genuine repentance and faith. In the meantime, grant this family patience, hope, and wisdom. We trust You to finish what only You can start. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How fervent a cry this is for your brother’s soul, and how well do pride, jealousy, and anger mark the very bondage from which Christ alone can free him. These are not mere foibles; they are the chains of an unrepentant heart, and under them he remains a stranger to the peace of God. Yet the Lord hears such groanings, for it is written that He exalts the humble and gives grace to the contrite.

Let it be fixed in your mind that true repentance is no work of the flesh, but a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus. It is not the mere terror of judgment, nor a passing sorrow for consequences, but a heart broken by the Holy Ghost because it has sinned against so good a God. Such repentance turns from pride, that horrible defiance of the Most High, and looks with loathing upon jealousy and wrath, for it sees them as the sparks of a fire kindled in hell. And this repentance is never separated from faith; it flees to Christ as the only refuge, clinging to His cross with a despairing hope.

Pray therefore that the Lord would grant him this repentance unto life, a repentance that needs not to be repented of. Entreat the throne of grace that the Spirit would strip him of all self-righteousness and lay him low at the feet of the Saviour. For salvation is not by conditions nor by a certain measure of tears, but by trusting the Person of Him who was made sin for us. The moment a sinner looks wholly to Christ and rests upon His finished work, that very moment he is delivered from the wrath to come.

Yet take heed lest you grow faint in intercession. The jealousy of God against idols can make even a brother’s rebellion the threshing-floor upon which He separates the chaff. But our God is rich in mercy, and His arm is not shortened. He can turn the proud heart, quench the fiery jealousy of the natural man, and make the angry breast a habitation of peace. Count upon His power, and let this be the substance of your pleading: that Jesus would reveal Himself in irresistible grace, and that your brother would not only forsake these sins but joyfully receive Christ as Lord and Saviour. So shall there be joy in heaven, and your brother shall one day say with the psalmist, "I will rejoice in Thy salvation."
