We hear the heaviness in your heart and we want to lift you up before the Lord together, because what you are feeling is not how God sees you. Failing exams and struggling to understand what others say does not mean you have low worth or that God cannot use you, and we gently rebuke the lie that your intelligence determines your value or your ability to serve Him. The enemy wants you to believe you are not enough, but God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and that He looks not as man looks, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart, 1 Samuel 16:7.
We want to remind you that God often chooses those the world would call unqualified so that His power is made clear. God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise, 1 Corinthians 1:27, and He told Moses who also said he was not eloquent and was slow of speech, Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak, Exodus 4:12. Jesus Himself thanked the Father that You hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants, Matthew 11:25. The apostles who turned the world upside down were seen as uneducated and untrained men, yet the people recognized that they had been with Jesus, Acts 4:13. What mattered was not their schooling but that the Holy Spirit was with them.
You do not need to be smart or eloquent to preach the gospel, because the gospel itself is simple and the power is not in our words but in Christ. The good news is that all have sinned, Romans 3:23, the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 6:23, that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised again, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. You can share that simple truth in your own words and testimony of what Jesus has done for you, and God will use it. We were not called to preach with persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that our faith would not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God, 1 Corinthians 2:4-5. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you ought to say, Luke 12:12.
We also want to encourage you that if you lack understanding or wisdom, God delights to give it when we ask. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. And His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness, 2 Corinthians 12:9.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne, Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We lift up our dear one who feels small and not smart enough, and we ask You to heal the hurt of failure and confusion and to silence every voice that says they are not worthy to be Your witness. Lord, reveal to them how precious and wonderfully made they are in Your eyes, fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding, and pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them so they may speak Your truth with boldness and simplicity. Give them wisdom and clarity to understand what they need to understand, and confidence to share the simple gospel of Jesus with others, not in their own strength but in Yours. Help them to know that You desire a willing heart more than perfect words, and use their life as a testimony of Your grace. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to keep walking with Jesus daily, reading His word in small portions, praying honestly, and sharing simply what you know, that Jesus loves sinners, died and rose again, and offers forgiveness to all who believe in Him. You do not need to have all the answers or understand every deep teaching to tell someone Jesus loves them and can save them. Start with your own story and one verse like John 3:16 or Romans 10:9, and trust the Holy Spirit to work through those simple, faithful words.
