Beloved of All
I have a belief about a tactic the devil uses, and if it's true,it's a warning that we should be on guard against it.Well, with an outright unsaved sinner, the devil just flashes the obvious sin in front of them, and it's easy work for the devil. With a backslidden Christian, he knows we're on to him, so what I believe he does is do something in such a subtle and slow way that we don't even realize we're doing the sinful thing until we're ialready into it.Like, it'll start out innocently enough, like pain meds,he'll tell us "take an extra dose" then it's another, then you're into illegal drugs, with the rationalization that it's "for the right reasons".Or married people having affairs, starts out as nothing, then"it feels good, and we're not harming anyone.Nobody will know'.{until they DO know, then it's too late}We must remember the devil is the Father of Lies, and if he can't get you outright,he'll slowly pull the wool over your eyes.Thoughts?
