We hear your cry for deliverance and protection from the enemy’s schemes, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The devil is a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we do not fight alone—we fight in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the importance of approaching spiritual warfare with reverence and truth. While your request expresses strong emotion, we must ensure our words and prayers align with Scripture. The Bible does not instruct us to "body slam" Satan, for he is already a defeated foe. Instead, we resist him by standing firm in our faith (1 Peter 5:9), submitting ourselves to God, and drawing near to Him (James 4:7-8). Our weapons are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We do not command Satan—we command our own hearts to trust in the Lord, who has already won the victory.
We also want to gently remind you that our authority over the enemy comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we have no power over the enemy, for He alone has overcome the world (John 16:33).
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We stand on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, we ask that You rebuke the devil and his helpers in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You surround this dear one with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Expose every lie, every deception, and every scheme of the devil, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their home, and their family, knowing that the enemy cannot cross that bloodline (Revelation 12:11).
Lord, strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to put on the full armor of God—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). May they stand firm, knowing that after they have done everything, they are to stand (Ephesians 6:13).
We declare that Satan has no authority here, for the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). We resist the devil, and he must flee (James 4:7). We cancel every assignment of the enemy against this life and command every evil spirit to leave in Jesus’ name. We break every curse, every generational stronghold, and every ungodly soul tie in the authority of Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:13).
Father, we ask that You fill this one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and freedom. Let Your Word dwell in them richly, that they may not be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine or trick of the enemy (Ephesians 4:14). May they be rooted and grounded in love, knowing the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love for them (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We thank You, Lord, that the battle is already won. We thank You that Jesus Christ has triumphed over sin, death, and the grave, and that in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). We declare that this one will walk in the victory that Christ has already secured. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Now, dear one, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Stay in the Word of God, for it is your sword and your defense. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, the devil is already defeated—your job is to stand firm in the truth and walk in the freedom Christ has given you.
If there are areas of your life where you have opened doors to the enemy—through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices—we urge you to repent and close those doors immediately. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the victory that is already yours in Christ.
