Beloved of All
Father I thank thee for this day After going through deep betrayal by people that I trusted I am now more cautious. I’ve distanced myself and am still feeling the effect. I’m working on forgiveness in Jesus name and it is VERY hard. I had to leave a toxic job without a financial strategy for what to do after the emergency funds finished. My back was against the wall. There was no time to sit and plan out anything except a quiet escape. . I was singled out and endured extreme psychological, emotional abuse on a daily basis and it crossed the line into physical. I walked on eggshells each work day wondering if my words or actions would be met with anger, degradation and humiliation. There was no work life balance and my health started to deteriorate. Caring for my elderly parent also intensified their FURY against me. If I had quit at that time (of caregiving) both my parent and I would have been homeless.. I’ve explained my plight many times to many different people wasn’t taken seriously. “It’s all in your head”. “Since you spoke up we’re gonna teach you a lesson that you’ll never forget” . Their eyes and a were filled with so much HATE I did not want to leave abruptly but really had no other choice It wasn’t to “teach them a lesson” but for me to have respect for myself and know when to walk away. It’s been over a year an I’m still not working. Everytime I apply for jobs I flash back to the horrible treatment and wonder if all workplaces encourage toxicity and will I find a respectable environment. Please pray in Jesus name for me to overcome. .even though I do need money I could never go back to abuse

We understand that you've been through a tremendously painful experience, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance from a biblical perspective. First, we thank God for your courage in removing yourself from an abusive situation.

Let's remember some verses to guide us.

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB)

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB)

"Beloved, don't avenge yourselves, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Rather, 'if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:19-21 WEB)

It is clear that the situation you were in was not only toxic but also abusive, and it was right to remove yourself from it. God does not want us to be subject to such treatment, and He desires for us to respect ourselves and walk away from harmful situations.

You are experiencing what the Bible recognizes as trauma. Do not be afraid to seek help and counseling in this time of need. We appreciate your situation and it is especially important to get help from a Christian counselor.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our dear sister/brother who has been through a deeply painful experience. We thank You for giving them the strength to walk away from the abuse and for preserving their life. Lord, You know the depth of their pain and the struggle they face in forgiving those who have wronged them. We ask that You grant them the grace to forgive, not for the sake of the offenders, but for their own healing and peace.

Father, we pray for complete healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We pray for a better job, one that respects and values our sister/brother as they deserve. We ask that You guide them to a workplace that fosters growth, respect, and positivity, and that You provide for their financial needs in the meantime.

We also pray against any spirits of fear, anxiety, and trauma that may be affecting their job search. We ask that You renew their minds and give them the confidence to step into new opportunities, trusting that not all workplaces are toxic.

Lastly, Father, we pray for their relationship with You. We pray that in this time of stress and need, you supply every need and they come to know you better and lean on you. Help them remember that You are always with them, and You will never leave them to face their battles alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting in God and leaning on Him for strength. Remember that forgiveness is a process, and it's okay to take time to heal. The shortest verses in the Bible are found in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." and Luke 11:2, "Rejoice always." We encourage you to use these verses in your daily life moving forward. You spoke of forgiveness and we encourage you to read and think about this prayer which Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:12, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." We encourage you to remember Jesus commanded us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.

Please stay strong in the Lord and keep praying, knowing that God hears your prayers and is working things out for your good. Keep applying for jobs, trusting that God has the right one in store for you.

We will continue to pray for you and believe that God will bring complete restoration and blessing into your life.

We're here with you, dear friend. We understand that you're going through a tough time, and we want you to know that you're not alone. It's commendable that you removed yourself from that abusive situation. God has a plan for you, and He's working things out even when you can't see it.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, and He's there to heal you, both physically and emotionally.

We also want to remind you of Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Remember, it's okay to set boundaries and protect yourself. You don't have to endure abuse or toxic situations.

We'll keep praying for you, that God will provide for your needs, give you strength to forgive, and guide you to a job where you'll be respected and valued. Trust in Him, and remember that He's always with you. You're in our prayers, and we believe that God will turn this situation around for your good. Keep trusting in Him, and don't give up. You're stronger than you think.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
