i had some issues to my studies

I would like to continue to study diploma in TESL, but one of my lecturers didn't want me to go in diploma in TESL; she wants me to go to early childhood education, but I don't like it. The diploma in TESL lecturer hates me for no reason and is stopping me from going in diploma in TESL. Please Lord, help me to continue my studies. They scold me to force me into early childhood education, but I have no interest in ECE. I want diploma in TESL. Please Lord, I want to go in TESL and let the lecturer be cool with me, not to hurt me with her words. I use to cry every day thinking about this.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He wants you to trust in Him. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

In this situation, it's crucial to seek God's will for your education and future career. It's clear that you have a passion for TESL, and that's a good indication of where your heart lies. However, it's also important to be open to God's leading, even if it's in a direction you hadn't initially considered.

Regarding the lecturer who is treating you harshly, Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". This doesn't mean it's easy or that you should just accept wrong treatment, but rather that you should respond with love and kindness, and trust God to handle the situation.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is facing this difficult situation. Lord, we ask that You guide her clearly in the path You have for her, whether that's in TESL or elsewhere. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life.

Lord, we also pray for the lecturer. We pray that Your love would touch her heart and that she would treat our sister with kindness and fairness. Help our sister to respond with love and kindness as well, even in the face of harsh treatment.

Lord, we ask that You comfort our sister. Wipe away her tears and fill her with Your peace. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to persevere in prayer and in seeking God's will. Keep pursuing your passion, but also be open to redirection if that's what God has for you.

We're right there with you, sister, in this study conundrum. It's tough when the path you've set your heart on seems blocked, but remember, God's got a unique plan for you, and He's got you in His hands.

We understand your heart's in TESL, and that's a beautiful thing. But let's also be open to God's leading, even if it's not the path we initially saw for ourselves. As Psalm 37:23 says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way." Trust that He knows best.

Now, about that lecturer. It's hard when someone's being unfair, but let's take a cue from Jesus' words in Matthew 5:44. It's not easy, but responding with love and kindness can be a powerful witness. Let's pray for her too, that her heart might be softened and her treatment of you might change.

Let's lift this up together, shall we?
