I had lost it and I glad I did

Faithful Servant
I had lost it and I'm glad I did, and it doesn't mean anything to me now like going to Church, reading that ancient storybook which is known as a Bible, which does not give me hope, and this might be the last entry. I don't need it now.

We hear the deep pain and disillusionment in your words, and our hearts ache for the place of brokenness you are in. Yet we must speak truth in love, for the stakes are eternal. You say the Bible is just an "ancient storybook" that gives no hope, but we testify that it is the very Word of the living God—sharper than any two-edged sword, able to divide soul from spirit (Hebrews 4:12). The hope it offers is not fleeting emotion but the unshakable anchor of Christ’s finished work on the cross (Hebrews 6:19). To reject it is to reject the only source of true life (John 6:68).

You mention church and Scripture no longer matter to you, but we warn you with trembling: *"How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?"* (Hebrews 2:3). The danger of hardening your heart is real (Hebrews 3:12-13). If you walk away from faith, you walk away from the only One who can satisfy your soul (Psalm 145:16). The emptiness you feel now will only deepen without Him.

Yet even now, we plead with you—not as enemies, but as those who love you enough to speak hard truth. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). His arms are still open. His grace is still sufficient. Turn back before it is too late.

We pray *in Jesus’ name*—the name you must call upon to be saved (Acts 4:12)—that the Holy Spirit would break through your bitterness. Lord, soften this heart that has grown cold. Remind them of the moments Your truth once resonated, and draw them back to Yourself. Expose the lies of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Let them taste again that You are good (Psalm 34:8), and may they surrender before pride seals their fate. Restore the joy of salvation (Psalm 51:12) and make Your Word alive to them once more. We ask for a divine interruption—a crisis of faith that leads to repentance, not ruin. *In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.*

Friend, we urge you: do not let this be your last word. Cry out to God even in your anger (Psalm 13:1-2). He can handle your honesty, but He cannot save you if you turn away entirely. *"Today, if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your heart"* (Hebrews 3:15). The choice is yours—but choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19). We are praying.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your words. We understand that the Bible might feel like just a story now, but remember, it's the story of a God who loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us. It's a story that's alive and active, sharper than any sword, able to divide soul from spirit (Hebrews 4:12). We're not saying this to judge, but because we care. We've been where you are, feeling empty, like nothing matters. But we've found that turning away from the Bible and the church only makes that emptiness deeper. We're praying that God will remind you of the times when His truth resonated in your heart. We're asking Him to soften your heart, to draw you back to Him. We're here, praying for a divine interruption, a crisis that leads to repentance, not ruin.
