I Give Up

I don't know how to pray.  I never seem to get prayer right.  I don't know any other way to say it.  I don't even know what I want.  God knows I suppose, so I'll leave t to Him.  I don't know how to ask Him.

just talk to Father God like you would anyone else....he is listening...

just tell him what is on your mind and in your heart....ask him to help you....

Heavenly Father, We ask for your will to be done in this situation. You are a kind, loving, merciful God. Please let your child feel your presence and to trust you in all things. We ask this in the name of your Holy son, Jesus Christ, and it is because of him we can come to your throne. We Thank you for this....Amen...

Never Give Up.  God has not given up on you....He knows the plans he has for you...plans for a future and prosperity and good health...he wants you to be happy.....you might feel better if you ask him to first forgive you for any sins that might be bothering you....just talk to him about how you feel and what is going on in your life....tell him what you need tell him specifically what you want.....He LOVES YOU JUST AS YOU ARE.....talk to him just like I am talking to you....and never, never, never.....give up.....

There really is no wrong way to pray. Just talk to God like you would anyone else. If you don't know what to do just start by asking him "how was your day"  or anything you want. He will answer you. Yes it may take him longer to answer the big questions like who you're going to marry, but he will ALWAYS and quickly respond to you just opening up to him and talking. A good book to read on how to hear God's voice and pray is "Discerning God's voice" by Pricilla Shrier if you're interested!!!

Also!!! Romans 8:26

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

You may not know what to say, but the Holy Spirit, well he does. (Just to clarify, the Holy spirit is a HE..... he is NOT an it. That clarification makes things more personal I've found!!!

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
