I give up Jesus. I cannot get either one of my children to cooperate and I will not continue to be treated like this. All I want my son to do is to go to bed and to stop being mean to me and for my daughter simply to answer a question. I don't understand why neither one of them will do so. Please let them do the simple things that they are supposed to and stop being so cruel to me. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

Respectfully, you are the adult and hold ALL OF THE POWER. All of it.

Don't embarrass yourself and let children run you.

They will obey or you will create consequences...you own everything they have. Take the phone, xbox, whatever, away from them if they disobey. No more sneakers, no more sports, etc. You don't have to beg children to "cooperate." Please, for your own sanity and respect, take some parenting classes, if this seems unclear to you.
