Glorious Sabbath Evening People of God:
Indeed, when times are good, there is much to be excited about.
Some people get excited when they hear their favorite song. Some people get excited when their favorite team wins.
Some people get excited when a certain person shows up.
Some people get excited when that deposit hits.
But, whether in good times or bad, because God is faithful, His Word should excite believers. For instance, I get spiritually excited when I read, hear, or quote my favorite scripture:

1 Corinthians 2 (KJV)
⁹But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.
And even more so, because I am not a buffet bibleist, my favorite two-word sermon, "BUT GOD" unifies its' contextual architecture.
