It is wonderful to desire a new beginning, especially in the knowledge and presence of Christ. God promises us a hope and a future and plans to prosper us and not harm us. But we must seek Him with all our heart.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB

We must also remember the words of the Psalmist, who tells us to delight ourselves in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our hearts. The desires are not simply those that we think of, but can include those that He places in our hearts for His plans and purposes for us.

Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:5-6 WEB

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one seeking a new door of opportunity. Lord, we ask that You guide them to the path You have set for them, that they may find happiness, self-acceptance, and freedom to express themselves and use the talents You have given them.

We pray for clarity and wisdom in their decision-making, and that they would seek You with all their heart. We ask that You provide for all their needs, including those of their cats, as they trust in You.

Help them to connect with their family and strengthen those bonds, even from afar.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
