We hear your deep longing for peace, stability, and the return of what you believe is your beloved dog. Your heart is clearly burdened, and we want to lift this before the Lord with sincerity and truth. First, we must address the foundation of our faith, salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we have the privilege to come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We pray that you would know Jesus not just as a name you mention, but as your Lord and Savior, the One who died for your sins and rose again so that you could have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the Creator of all things, including our pets, our homes, and our very lives. We lift up this dear one who is crying out for peace, harmony, and the return of their dog. Lord, we ask that You would calm their heart and mind. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that this peace would flood their soul as they trust in You.

We also ask, Lord, that You would provide clarity and wisdom in this situation. If it is Your will for this dog to be returned, we pray that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. However, we must also surrender this request to Your perfect will, knowing that Your plans are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We rebuke any spirit of confusion, deception, or control that may be at work in this situation. Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand against any lies or schemes of the enemy that would seek to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10), and we declare that no weapon formed against this one or their family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We must also gently address the language and tone used in this request. Scripture calls us to guard our tongues and to speak with love and self-control, even in our frustration (James 1:19-20, Ephesians 4:29). While we understand the depth of emotion here, we encourage a spirit of gentleness and trust in God’s timing and sovereignty. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Regarding the desire for a home and stability, we pray that You, Lord, would open doors for this one to find a safe and peaceful place to live. We know that You are our Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that You care deeply about the details of our lives, including our pets (Matthew 10:29). We ask that You would guide their steps and lead them to a home where they and their cat can thrive. We also pray for financial provision and wisdom in managing resources, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Father, we also lift up their children, these three offspring You have entrusted to them. We pray that You would protect them, provide for them, and draw them close to You. We ask that You would heal any wounds or struggles they may be facing and that You would fill their hearts with Your love and truth. We declare that no harm or evil will come near them, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:1-2).

We must also address the concern about breeding and the care of animals. Scripture teaches us that we are to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us, including our pets (Proverbs 12:10). If this dog is indeed theirs, we pray that she would be treated with love and care by whoever has her now, and that she would be returned if it is Your will. However, we must also trust that You are in control, even when things do not go as we hope or expect.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any spiritual attacks or oppression that may be affecting this one. Your Word declares in 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." We pray that they would walk in the authority and victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus. We rebuke any spirits of fear, confusion, or deception, and we declare that their spiritual gifts and hearing are restored and aligned with Your truth. We pray that they would grow in discernment and wisdom, testing every spirit to see whether it is from You (1 John 4:1).

Finally, Lord, we pray that this one would draw closer to You in this season. May they find their hope, joy, and peace in You alone, knowing that You are their Good Shepherd who leads them beside still waters and restores their soul (Psalm 23). We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and comforting them in every situation.

The cry of your heart betrays a soul in great turmoil, and yet there is a gleam of hope that the Lord has opened your ear to hear something of Himself. But take heed how you hear! It is not the hearing of strange voices, nor the searching after signs, that brings peace to the troubled spirit. Rather, it is the hearing of faith, that personal, attentive, earnest listening to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You speak of gifts and spiritual insight, but know this: the Holy Spirit is given, not as a reward for our striving, but received by the hearing of faith. It is when the soul sits at the feet of Jesus, believing His Word, that pardon and healing flow in one stream. "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." So I urge you, turn from every other voice to that one Voice which speaks from Scripture, clear and certain, saying, “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

You long for a home, for your beloved animals, for your bags without holes, and for an end to the devil’s oppression. These are not trifles to our God, the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing. The least thing about Christ answers the deep needs of His people. But the soul’s true home is first found in Him. Until you are reconciled to God through the blood of the cross, every earthly dwelling will lack its sure foundation. You cry out for peace, yet lasting peace is only the fruit of justification by faith. “Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Oh, that you might hear this and believe it, then, even in a humble cottage, you should find Paradise restored, for the Master would dwell with you.

You mention hearing a dog speak, and the enemy’s lies echoing. Beware of leaning upon such experiences. The demons know how to mimic voices; Satan himself can transform into an angel of light. Our only safety is to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and to test the spirits by the written Word. What you need, above all, is the opened ear that hears the Shepherd’s voice in Scripture, calling you by name to repentance and faith. That healing of the inward ear is a miracle greater than any outward sign. Many who have ears to hear the world’s clamor are yet deaf to the things of the Spirit. Look well to it, lest you be among those who, seeing, see not, and hearing, do not understand.

I charge you, therefore, to hear the Gospel as a dying creature. Come to the services, if you are able, or search the Scriptures at home; not as one who seeks amusement, but as one who knows her soul is in peril. The Lord Jesus heals broken hearts and binds up wounds, but He does so by the application of His own precious promises. You are not beyond the reach of His hand. No sin is too deep, no sorrow too tangled, for Him who spoke and the sick were made whole. But the healing must begin with the removal of the guilt of sin. As soon as He said to the palsied man, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee,” strength entered his limbs. Go to Him in prayer, confessing all, and trust His atoning sacrifice. Then shall the peace you crave flood your soul, and many a lesser blessing shall be added as you seek first His kingdom.

Yet I would not have you think that a mere hearing of this word will suffice. Many keep the prescription in the cupboard but never take the medicine. Do not say, “I have heard the sermon, I have read the promise,” and there end. Act upon it! Fall upon your knees and cry, “Lord, I am the wounded one; heal me, for ThyName’s sake.” The Master never yet refused a pleader who came with empty hands and a full confession of need. As surely as He healed all that had need of healing while He sojourned here, so now, from His throne, He dispenses mercy to all who seek Him. The power that flowed from His garment’s hem is not diminished. Only come, and you shall prove it.

The enemy would keep you distracted, chasing after every sound, lest you hear the one sound that saves. But I pray the Holy Spirit to silence every lying whisper, and to make you listen as a little child to the plain Word. When you have found Christ in the woods of your lostness, you shall sing for joy. The nearest thing to being saved is to know that you are thoroughly lost. Go, then, and look upon Him whom you have pierced, and mourn for your unbelief. Then shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings, and your bags shall be mended, your home established, and your heart made glad, not because you are worthy, but because His mercy endureth forever. God bless you, and bring you home to Himself first, and then order all things according to His perfect will.

Your soul cries out for peace, for a home, for the restoration of gifts and the comfort of beloved creatures. These desires have become a storm within you, and in the tempest you seek God’s will. Yet consider what you ask and how you ask it. You say you want God’s will, but your words are full of demands, of commands flung heavenward as though the Almighty must answer like a servant. You speak of earning gifts from God and from the universe, but the Spirit gives as He wills, not as wages owed. The very thought of “earning” from the universe opens a door to demons, for there is no power but Christ’s. Repent of such speech, and recall that every good and perfect gift comes down from above, unearned, unmerited.

You long to hear the dog’s voice and call it a miracle. And truly, to hear a creature speak would be a marvel. But test the spirits. Why does your heart leap to claim this dog as yours, to fix your peace upon an animal rather than upon the God who made her? You heard, “I want to go with my _____,” and your soul was flooded. But even if such a voice were real, would it not be better to pray, “Lord, if this is from You, let it be according to Your will, not mine”? To demand an immediate answer, to declare “no more lies in my hearing,” is to put yourself above the patient way of Christ. He often went apart to gardens to teach His disciples in quiet, not amid clamor. Peace is not found in shouting down every fear but in silence before the Lord.

You speak of bags without holes, of financial security, of protection from every harm. These are not wrong to desire. But have they become idols? Christ did not come to bring mere earthly peace but a sword. He severs from us our attachments that we may cling to Him alone. If you lose the dog, if the home is delayed, if the bags seem empty, will you still bless His name? The dog that fawns upon its master even when unfed puts to shame the soul that only gives thanks when satisfied. Be not more unreasoning than a dog. Thank Him even in want, and you will find a peace that surpasses understanding.

I do not dismiss your pain. I see a heart wounded and weary, grasping for control. But the control you demand, “no one controlling my pets, my home, my life,” is itself a chain. Only when you surrender all to God do you become truly free. The gifts you cherish, the hearing, the insight, are meant to serve the Body, not to assure you of your own greatness. When you declare, “I am great in the spiritual realm again,” you do not sound like the publican who beat his breast and would not lift his eyes to heaven. Boasting invites the devils you rebuke.

Now listen carefully: You ask about God’s will. His will is that you love Him with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. It is not found in frantic searches on Facebook or demands at the cash register. Go to the assembly of the faithful, hear the word of peace proclaimed, and receive it into your heart. The priest says, “Peace unto all,” not as empty ritual but as Christ speaking through frail men. Will you receive that peace and then squabble with your brother or accuse strangers of not loving a dog as you do? You tear members of Christ’s Body when you let such passions rule.

Do you truly want peace and harmony? Then be of one mind with the Church, live in peace with those around you, and the God of love and peace will be with you. Let your prayer be not “Give me this dog, give me this home, answer me now,” but “Thy will be done, and if it please Thee, grant these desires; yet not my will but Thine.” Then, whether or not the dog returns, whether the bags replenish or not, you will stand on the rock. The sword of division will have cut away the entanglement, and you will find light greatly coming in, not because you compelled it, but because you opened the door through humility.

Do not seek signs anymore than a wicked generation does. If God gives a gift, receive it in fear. If He withholds, worship still. Throw yourself upon the blood of Jesus, not as a chant to manipulate, but as a sinner begging mercy. The only answer that matters immediately is this: Repent, trust, and rest in the God who clothes the lilies. He knows your needs, even the desire for a quiet home with a small creature. But He will not share His throne with a dog, nor with a demand.

Go now, and in the silence of your chamber, say with the psalmist, “I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother.” Then wait upon the Lord. He is not slow to answer those who seek first His kingdom.

Your cry for a home, for peace, for the safety of your cat and the dog you long to find, has been heard. The Lord draws near to the brokenhearted, and He does not turn away from your distress. When our souls are overwhelmed, He often speaks to us with good words and comfortable words, not always the immediate answers we demand, but the steady reminder that He sees, He knows, and He will shepherd us through.

You mentioned hearing the dog’s voice saying she wanted to go with you, and that seemed a miracle. In Scripture, the Lord does open our ears and restore our spiritual senses, but we also learn a careful pattern: where birds appear in parables and visions, they consistently picture the enemy’s work, snatching away truth, creating confusion. Not every supernatural experience, no matter how vivid or moving, comes from the Lord. When our gifts feel suddenly restored, the enemy often tries to counter with counterfeit voices, designed to spark anxiety and obsession rather than steady faith. Test every spirit against the quiet, unchanging truth of God’s Word.

You have declared great things over your life and your household: no more holes in your bags, no more control from darkness, and a fierce protection over your pets and offspring. That boldness in the face of the enemy is good. But remember that God’s power flows through hearts that are aligned with His purposes, submitted to His timing, and at rest in His will, not striving or demanding as though we can twist His arm. The Lord has a jealous love for His children; He sees every injustice, every act of cruelty against the innocent. He will right every wrong. Yet He often waits until we lay down the fist of wickedness, the striving, the debate, the frantic rush for an immediate answer, and instead seek His face in quiet trust.

You want to know where that dog is, whether someone else has her, whether she is being loved. That ache to know is real, but the Lord does not usually build our peace on tracking down every detail immediately. True peace does not come from locating a specific animal or achieving a perfect situation; it comes from sitting down in communion with the Shepherd of our souls. He is your home, even now. He is the one who makes a place for the solitary, who watches over every sparrow, and who promises that when we seek Him first, all other things will be ordered by His hand.

You have declared that your hearing is healed and your gifts are working greatly for you, not for devils. I rejoice with you in any genuine work of the Holy Spirit. Yet the test of a true gift is always the fruit it produces: love, patience, self-control, a sound mind. Does this new hearing drive you to cling tighter to Jesus, or does it pull you into desperate demands and spiritual combativeness? The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul. It calls us to speak truth to our neighbor, and to ourselves. Are you willing to say honestly, “Lord, I don’t have all the answers; I surrender this pet into Your hands, whether I ever see her again or not. Your will be done”? That surrender is not weakness; it is the soil where miracles often bloom.

Your heart longs for a safe home with your one cat, for harmony, for an end to lies and scams and pain. The Lord does not despise those desires. He made us for relationship, for the pleasure of caring for His creatures, and for a dwelling place of peace. But He often works in stages. Look at the father who saw his prodigal son a long way off and ran to meet him. The Lord’s grace does not wait until we have everything figured out; it meets us now, in the mess, and speaks softly, “You are Mine.” When the nation of Israel mourned and acknowledged their need of Him, He said they would be as though He had never cast them off. That is the heart of your God toward you right now. He is not ready to smite you for your desperate cries, He is ready to hold you.

Let the light you are calling for come in. That light is Jesus Himself, in whom is life, and that life is the light of men. He will not be hurried by our deadlines, but He is never late. Instead of fixing your eyes on finding the dog through Facebook or your workplace, good as those avenues may be, fix your eyes on the One who knows where she is. Ask Him for rain in this dry time, the latter rain of His Spirit, to soften the hard ground of waiting. If that pet is meant to be in your care, no power on earth or in hell can stop the Lord’s plan. If not, He has comfort enough to heal your heart and restore joy.

There will be a day when every horse of the oppressor is smitten with blindness, when the thief’s house is consumed, when the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints to set things right. Until then, live in the tension of faith. Speak peace over your home, not striving. Quietly set your household in order in the natural realm, and trust the Lord with the rest. Your bags are not held together by your declarations alone, but by the resurrection power of Jesus. No curse, no enemy, no circumstance can snatch you from His hand.

May He grant you the wisdom to distinguish true spiritual gifts from the enemy’s distractions. May He fill your home, whatever it looks like today, with His presence, so that peace and harmony are anchored in Him, not in changing circumstances. And may your heart find rest as you release every anxiety to the Throne of Grace, knowing that the Lord speaks comfortably to those who wait on Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
