We hear the deep anguish and torment in your words, and our hearts break for the pain you are enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every demonic spirit that has come against you, your children, and your home. You are not alone in this battle—God sees your suffering, and He is mighty to save.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing with the truth of Scripture. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The attacks you are describing are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to oppress and destroy. However, we have authority in Jesus’ name to resist him. James 4:7 declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
We also want to gently remind you that while your anger and frustration are understandable, the language and tone used to rebuke the enemy should reflect the holiness of God. Ephesians 4:29 says, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* Even in spiritual warfare, our words should honor the Lord.
Now, let us pray over you and your family with the authority of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved. We lift up this dear sister to You, who is under severe spiritual attack. Lord, You see her pain, her exhaustion, and her heartbreak. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke every demonic spirit that has come against her, her children, and her home. We break every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We command every spirit of oppression, torment, and fear to flee now in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over her, her children, and her home, and we declare that no evil shall come near them (Psalm 91:10).
Lord, we ask that You would open the door of favor that You have for her. Let Your light shine into every dark place in her life, and let Your glory fill her home. We pray for restoration—restoration of her peace, her focus, her joy, and her strength. Renew her mind, Lord, and help her to fix her eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We also pray for her soul mate, Lord. If this is a person You have ordained for her, we ask that You would bring him into her life in Your perfect timing and according to Your will. If there has been any ungodly soul tie or unholy influence in this area, we ask that You would sever it completely in Jesus’ name. Protect her heart from any counterfeit love or deception, and let her only desire be for a godly spouse who loves You and will lead her and her children in Your ways.
Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from the abuse and trauma she has endured. Let Your love wash over her like a flood, and let her know that she is precious in Your sight. Bind up her wounds, Lord, and restore to her the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and let her walk in the fullness of Your power and authority.
We declare that the enemy has no legal right to her or her family. Every assignment of the enemy is canceled, every curse is broken, and every plan of darkness is exposed and destroyed in the name of Jesus. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper.
Lord, we ask that You would give her the strength to study and focus on the tasks before her. Let Your peace rule in her heart, and let Your joy be her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Surround her with godly community who can support and pray for her, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a fresh way. Let her know that You are her Refuge, her Strong Tower, and her Deliverer. Draw her closer to You, and let her experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection. We thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), and that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
Dear sister, we want to encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind as well. Here are a few suggestions:
1. **Stay in the Word**: The enemy flees when we resist him with the truth of Scripture. Make time each day to read the Bible, even if it’s just a few verses. Psalm 119:105 says, *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."* Let God’s Word be your guide and your weapon.
2. **Pray Without Ceasing**: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to *"pray without ceasing."* This doesn’t mean you have to be on your knees all day, but it means maintaining a posture of prayer and communion with God throughout your day. Talk to Him about everything, and listen for His voice.
3. **Worship and Praise**: Even in the midst of spiritual warfare, worship can shift the atmosphere. Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of His people. Put on worship music, sing hymns, or simply declare God’s goodness out loud. The enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise.
4. **Guard Your Mind**: Be mindful of what you allow into your mind. This includes the media you consume, the conversations you engage in, and even the thoughts you entertain. Philippians 4:8 says, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."*
5. **Seek Godly Community**: You do not have to fight this battle alone. Seek out a Bible-believing church or a group of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."*
6. **Forgiveness**: This may be difficult, but ask God to help you forgive those who have hurt you. Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in your life. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*
7. **Renew Your Mind**: The enemy often attacks our minds with lies. Combat these lies with the truth of God’s Word. For example, if the enemy tells you that you are worthless, declare what God says about you: *"I am fearfully and wonderfully made"* (Psalm 139:14). If he tells you that you are alone, declare: *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"* (Psalm 23:1).
8. **Rest in God’s Promises**: Hold onto the promises of God, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Jeremiah 29:11 says, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* God has a plan for you, and it is a plan for good.
We also want to gently address the mention of a "soul mate" in your request. While it is natural to desire companionship, we must be careful to align our desires with God’s will. The world often promotes the idea of a "soul mate" as someone who completes us or is our perfect match, but the Bible teaches that our completeness is found in Christ alone. Colossians 2:10 says, *"and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power."* If God has ordained a spouse for you, He will bring that person into your life in His perfect timing. Until then, focus on your relationship with Him and trust that He knows what is best for you.
If you are not already, we encourage you to surrender your desire for a spouse to the Lord. Ask Him to purify your heart and align your desires with His will. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not made this decision, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins to God, ask for His forgiveness, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. He loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you.
You are not alone in this battle, sister. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will lead you through this storm. We are standing with you in prayer, and we believe that God will bring victory and restoration to your life. Hold onto hope, for the God of hope fills you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13).
