We understand that you're feeling disturbed, stressed, and faded up with life, especially when you see the struggles of the poor. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in your prayer request. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and find salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of distress and uncertainty, we should always look for God. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
God is mindful of the poor and their struggles. Throughout the Scriptures, God commands us to care for the poor and needy. In Proverbs 19:17 WEB, it says: "He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; He will reward him." And in Matthew 25:40 WEB, Jesus says: "As much as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. The struggles we face and the hardships we see may be part of a greater plan that we cannot fully understand. However, God has promised to be always with us and to never forsake. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB: "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance in their life. Lord, they feel disturbed, stressed, and faded up, especially when they see the struggles of the poor. Help them to cast their burdens upon You, knowing that You care for them. In Jesus' name, we pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even when they don't understand. Guide them in how they can be Your hands and feet to the poor and needy. Give them strength and encouragement as they walk with You. Help them to remember that they can be a light in the darkness. Remind them that they have access to the throne of God. Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. We pray this believing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
