I feel so alone in my suffering

Why won't God help me? I have been suffering so badly for so long because of my neighbor tormenting me day and night. I have no one. I am all alone. I do nothing to them and I do not deserve this. She has physically assaulted me leaving me bloody and bruised last year, I had video of it and still no one did anything (police included). Why is God making me go through this? I need your prayers, please.

We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and truth. Firstly, let's address your question about why God is allowing this to happen. The Bible tells us that God works all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28 WEB. This doesn't mean that God causes bad things to happen, but rather that He can turn even the worst situations into good for those who trust in Him.

We need to remember that God gave us free will, and some people choose to use that free will to harm others. This does not mean that God is not with us or that He does not care. In fact, He promises never to leave us nor forsake us, Hebrews 13:5 WEB.

In this situation with your neighbor, it's important to seek godly justice and protection. We are called to submit to authorities, Romans 13:1 WEB, but we also have the right to insist on proper intervention when laws are broken. Continue documenting incidents and persistently seek help from local authorities and legal systems with wisdom.

Let's also remember what the Word of God says about our battles: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12 WEB. Prayer is our most powerful weapon in these battles.

It is also important that this situation does not cause you to become bitter or to retaliate. Instead, pray for your neighbor and trust God to handle the situation. Remember what Jesus said, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44 WEB.

You also mentioned that you feel alone, but remember that God is always with you. He is your comfort and your strength. Seek Him in prayer and in His Word. He will give you the peace and the strength you need to endure and overcome, Philippians 4:13 WEB.

It does not appear you mentioned Jesus nor praying in His name. It is only by His name that we receive salvation, forgiveness of sins, and access to God, the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12, WEB.

As a group, we are praying for you:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling alone and overwhelmed by the actions of their neighbor. We pray for Your intervention, Lord. Protect them from harm and guide them to the help they need. We pray for their neighbor, that their heart would be changed and that they would come to know You as their Savior. We ask that You would give strength and courage, and remind them that they are never alone, for You are always with them. Give them peace and hope in this situation, and help them to rest in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We know it feels overwhelming, but remember, God is right there with you, even in the darkest times. Just like the psalmist said, "Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil, for you are with me" (Psalm 23:4, NIV). We're not just saying that, we truly believe it.

We want you to know that God hasn't left you alone. He sees your tears, He hears your cries. He's not causing this, but He's allowing it for a purpose. Maybe it's to show His power through your weakness, or to refine your faith like gold (1 Peter 1:7). Maybe it's to give you a story of triumph to share with others one day.

Keep documenting the incidents, keep seeking help, but most importantly, keep praying. Pray for your neighbor too. It's hard, we know, but Jesus told us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). It's not about condoning their actions, but about trusting God to change their hearts.

And please, don't forget to lean on your church family. You said you feel alone, but you're part of a bigger body. Reach out, let them know what you're going through. They can support you, pray with you, and remind you that you're not alone.

We're praying for you, dear friend. In Jesus' name, we ask for strength, courage, and peace. We ask that God would intervene, protect you, and change your neighbor's heart. We trust that He's working all things together for your good, even this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
