I’m at risk of losing one of my jobs, I’m trying to find an affordable car while also working on my relationship with god. I feel so out f touch with him and my mind is kind of wandering. I feel lost and don’t know what t do

We hear your heart in this struggle and we join with you in bringing every burden before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. Feeling at risk of losing a job, needing an affordable car, and feeling out of touch with God while your mind wanders can leave anyone feeling lost and overwhelmed, but we want to remind you that God sees you right where you are and He has not left you.

Scripture tells us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us, as in 1 Peter 5:7, and not to be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We are encouraged that if we seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be given to us as well, Matthew 6:33. This does not mean our problems vanish overnight, but that when we put Him first, He provides for our daily needs according to His perfect wisdom. We also cling to the promise that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28, even when we cannot see the way forward.

You shared that you feel out of touch with Him and your mind is wandering. We understand that season, and we want to gently encourage you that God is not distant. He says draw near to God, and He will draw near to you, James 4:8, and you will seek Him and find Him when you search for Him with all your heart, Jeremiah 29:13. When our minds wander, we can ask Him to keep us in perfect peace as we keep our minds fixed on Him, Isaiah 26:3, and to help us bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5. When our hearts are overwhelmed we can cry to Him and He will lead us to the rock that is higher than we are, Psalm 61:2. We encourage you to set aside quiet time each day to pray honestly, to read His Word, and to fellowship with other believers who can walk with you, because faith comes by hearing the Word of God, Romans 10:17.

We noticed you mentioned your relationship with god but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is by putting our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly come to Him in prayer. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus today and trust Him as your Lord and Savior.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this precious one to You in the name of Jesus. You see the pressure over work and the fear of losing a job, the need for reliable and affordable transportation, and the deep weariness of feeling lost and disconnected from You. We ask You to show Your presence in a tangible way and to remind them that You will never leave nor forsake them, as You promise fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, Isaiah 41:10. Provide for the job situation according to Your will, open doors for provision, wisdom for finances and for finding a car, and give peace to a wandering mind. Draw them close to You, quiet their thoughts, renew their strength, and help them to seek You daily with a whole heart. Lead them to trust in Jesus fully and to rest in Your grace. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing everything to Him in prayer, to stay in His Word even when it feels difficult, and to reach out to a Bible believing church for support and prayer in person. God is faithful, He hears you, and He will guide your steps as you trust in Him with all your heart, Proverbs 3:5-6.

We can hear how stretched thin you feel right now with work on the line, a car to find, and your walk with God feeling distant all at once. It makes sense your mind is wandering and you feel lost when so much is demanding your attention at the same time.

One thing we have found helpful to remember is that it is often not the pressure itself alone but how long we stay under it without rest or a way to process it that wears us down. And feeling out of touch with God does not mean He has moved away from you. Growing in faith is more like training for a long run than trying to sprint perfectly once. Small, steady steps over time matter more than getting everything right today, and He sees you as a work in progress.

When everything feels urgent it can help to narrow your focus just a little. You might choose one simple, sustainable rhythm with the Lord for this week, like a few quiet minutes in the morning to talk honestly with Him and read a short passage, without pressure to feel a certain way. For the practical pressures, try one next action for each, perhaps a calm conversation to clarify where you stand at work, and setting a clear budget range before you look at cars so the search stays manageable.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now and ask You to give steady peace in the middle of uncertainty, wisdom for work and for the car search, and a renewed sense of Your nearness. Draw them close and guide their next steps. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Im feeling my connection to God feels good and usually not. Im usually terrified and afraid all the time. May Father God and Lord Yeshua help you. Heal you. Be there in your time if need only stop to pray and acknowledge him often. He will guide you there. Believe and pray. In Lord Yeshuas name our King. Who will sit on his throne. Amd all his saints and children will be blessed. And maybe the world will no peace instead of violence. In Lord Yeshuas name amen.

To feel that you are struggling in every way, with your mind wandering and your heart out of touch with God, is a painful and very human trial, and the Lord does not despise you in it. You have spoken honestly of feeling lost, and that honesty is itself a mercy, for it shows that your soul is still longing to find Him.

Remember this truth, that power belongs unto God. All the power there is in the universe came from Him at first, comes from Him still, and at His bidding would in a single moment cease. The great God can do all things without help. He needs no assistance from any created thing. This is your comfort in the press of daily cares, the risk to your work and the need of a car and all the small anxieties that weigh so heavily. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows knows your need of daily bread and daily provision, and He neither esteems the great nor despises the little. Your job, your search, your wandering thoughts are not too small for His notice, nor too hard for His hand.

You say you feel out of touch with Him, as if He had hidden His face. The saints of old have known this sovereign withdrawal, and they have learned that when God hides His face, nothing can make the soul happy till He returns. Yet hear this, He bars not the door from without, we often shut it from within. He is not far away at the uttermost ends of the earth. He is everywhere, and if you want to find God, here He is. You need not seek some strange mark or feeling in addition to God. Seek Himself. Job longed to find Him and said, Oh that I knew where I might find Him, and the answer for you is the same as for Job, that God is near to them that call upon Him in truth.

Do not think the consolations of God are too small for you. They deal with the very source of sorrow, which is sin, and they come to us through a ransom. There is a word, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Jesus Christ the Lord, who was made man in order to save man from that which separated him from God. Your acceptance with God does not rest upon the strength of your faith or the warmth of your love. Even if your faith feels weak and your love chill, Christ is your plea. Through Him you may come boldly, not because you are worthy, but because He is.

When the mind wanders, do not despair, but gently bring it back to Christ. Set apart a quiet time, though it be short, to converse with God. Put off your shoes as it were, remembering you draw near to holy ground, and speak plainly to your Father as a child speaks. Open His Word, not to hide it from yourself by taking only half its truth, but to hear His whole counsel. Tell Him of your jobs, your need, your confusion, for He invites you to cast all your care upon Him. And thank Him through Jesus Christ your Lord, even while the cloud remains, for the cloud will pass.

May the Lord graciously reveal Himself to you again, lift up the light of His countenance upon you, steady your mind, provide for your daily needs according to His wisdom, and keep you from going down to the pit. May He give you to hear His whisper, You are Mine, and to answer with a quiet trust that power belongs unto God and grace belongs to you through Christ.
