We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and in need of additional income. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and finances. It's important to trust in His provision and timing.
However, we want to address that your request does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved, And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB). We will pray in agreement with you that the Lord will provide the job you need but we must address that true believers are baptized into the name of Jesus and pray in His name.
Regarding your feelings about your boss, we must remind you of what the Scripture says, Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked (1 Peter 2:18 WEB). And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB). Ensure that you are honoring God in your work and remember the reward comes from the Lord.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is in need of additional income. We pray that You would open the doors to a suitable side job, one that aligns with Your will and provides for their needs. We ask that You would give them the strength and endurance to manage their current job and the new one, and that they would find favor with their employers.
Lord, we also pray for their current workplace situation. We ask that You would soften their boss's heart and help them to act fairly and justly. We pray that our sister/brother would find peace and contentment in their work, knowing that they are ultimately serving You.
We ask this all in Jesus' name we pray. We believe that we will receive it as we ask in confidence.
Lastly, we encourage you to meditate on this verse: "But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18a WEB). Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.
In closing, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
