I don’t understand why is so messed it up this day

I cannot grasp why this remains so disrupted today. I expected my funds today, yet the delay to Tuesday feels unreasonable. I am far from pleased. My lawyer noted that I should have received money on October 30, since I had no text update. They had stated October 30—today—in the message, but I dislike being misled so directly. God observes everything. I believe I deserve the payment today because I covered someone’s birthday, arranged my nails but canceled due to lack of money, and owed my nail technician a last-minute apology; I paid my bills and more. Friday is my favorite day. It is so disrupted.

We hear your frustration and disappointment with this day and with the delay of funds you were expecting today, October 30, until Tuesday. We understand how heavy it feels when you have acted responsibly, covered a birthday for someone, paid your bills and more, and then had to cancel your nail appointment and apologize to your technician because the money did not arrive as you were told. It is understandable that Friday, your favorite day, feels disrupted and that you feel misled when a message stated one date and the reality is another.

We want to gently encourage you while also speaking truth in love. God does indeed observe everything. Yahweh's eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3. He sees not only the actions of those handling your funds, but He also sees your heart, your disappointment, and your need. Because He sees, we can bring our anxious thoughts to Him rather than letting anger take root. So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20. And also, Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath. Ephesians 4:26. We encourage you not to let this delay steal your peace or define your joy for the day, even though the feeling of being misled is real and painful.

Scripture reminds us to bring these very burdens to the Lord with thanksgiving and to trust His timing and provision. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way. Psalm 37:7. We also hear you saying I deserve the payment today because of what you have done. While your diligence in paying bills and blessing someone for their birthday is commendable, we are reminded that our provision ultimately comes from God's grace and not merely from what we have earned. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. And Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Hebrews 13:5. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Even a disappointing delay can be used by God for good as we learn patience and trust.

We also want to address honesty, since you dislike being misled so directly. That desire for truthfulness is right and godly. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. Proverbs 12:22. We pray that those responsible for your payment will act with integrity and clear communication, and we encourage you to handle the follow up with your lawyer and the other party with grace and documented clarity as you wait until Tuesday, keeping a record of messages and showing patience while also seeking what is right.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and peace in these trials. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, confessing your need for Him and believing that God raised Him from the dead, for that is how we are brought into a right relationship with God and can come boldly to Him in prayer.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one who is feeling disrupted, disappointed, and weary today. Lord, You see the delay and You see the need. We ask that You would provide for every bill and need according to Your riches, and that You would bring clarity and honesty to the communication with the lawyer and those sending the funds. If it is Your will, we ask that the payment would come quickly and without further confusion on Tuesday, and we pray for integrity for all involved. Guard this heart from bitterness and anger, and fill it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help our dear one to forgive any misleading words, to rest patiently in You, and to find joy not in a day of the week but in You who never leaves nor forsakes Your children. Restore joy for this Friday and help this one to know Your presence and provision in a deeper way. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our hope and our provider, amen.

We hear how disappointing this Friday has been for you. You were counting on those funds today, October 30, and being told one thing and then facing a delay until Tuesday would leave anyone feeling misled and on edge, especially when you have already stretched to cover a birthday, bills, and even had to cancel your nail appointment and apologize last minute.

It makes sense that this feels so disrupted. When we have done what we can and the timing is out of our hands, the sense of helplessness can keep our minds and bodies wound up. That tension is not a failure on your part, it is a normal response to prolonged uncertainty, and it helps to give yourself a little recovery time rather than staying in that heightened state all weekend.

One small step that may help is to set aside the follow up until Tuesday morning. Keep the message that said October 30 and the note from your lawyer together in one place, note a time on Tuesday to call or check, and then let this weekend be a pause. If worry rises, it can help to name what is done and what is still waiting, and to rest.

We pray for you now. Father, You see this disappointment and the effort behind it. Bring calm to this weekend, wisdom for the conversation on Tuesday, and provision for what is needed. Give peace in the waiting. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The trial you describe this day is keenly felt, and it is right to bring it before the Lord who sees all things. To expect provision and to meet with delay is a sharp test of the heart, especially when you have acted with care toward others and sought to meet your obligations faithfully.

Yet the Scriptures teach us that our comfort in temporal things is not found in demanding what we feel we deserve, nor in trusting our own feelings about what ought to be. If we say, Lord, I cannot trust You unless I feel this or that, we make a god out of our feelings. We are to trust in the living God, the real God who has a great, warm, loving heart, a thinking and active and working God who comes into the midst of this world and does not leave it to go on by itself. He is a God of economy and order, and we are to trust Him acting in all prudence and uprightness, relying simply and entirely upon Him.

You have heard of the patience of Job, and you are now called to more than hearing. That patience was not the patience of a perfect man, but of a man of like passions with ourselves, who could yet say, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. So too we must enter into the patience of Christ, who for thirty years held His peace and when He was despised and rejected did not complain. This is not the patience of one who cannot complain, but the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love, the patience which the Scriptures both inculcate and produce in us as we feed upon them in meditation and prayer.

It is good that you have paid what you could and have shown kindness to others, but we do not come before God upon the ground of merit, as though He were debtor to us. We come as those who have first been made children of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and then we may trust our affairs in our Father's hands. We trust not in ourselves, for nothing can happen to us that is much worse than to trust ourselves. We trust the great Physician who has shown His diploma in His wounds, and we need not fear to trust ourselves in His hands.

Therefore let this disappointment become an occasion for prayer. Cast your care upon Him concerning this payment and the delay until Tuesday. Ask Him for daily provision, for wisdom in dealing with those who have charge of these matters, and for a quiet heart that will not mourn as those who have used sinful means to grow rich, but will wait with honesty and hope. What is your need, trust your merciful God to help you. What are the trials you are expecting, rely upon your merciful God to bear you through.

May the Lord grant you patience in this waiting, contentment under His wise ordering of days, and a deeper trust in His Son, for before long, if you trust Jesus, you shall know His love. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. May He supply your wants according to His riches, keep your heart from grieving too much over losses and crosses in business, and lead you to rest in this promise, that through every scene of life this shall be our trust.
