I deal with this old couple {job related} who, by all accounts, and according to them themselves, really shouldn't be living alone. The wife has health issues, and the husband is a "negative nelly" whose main topic of conversation is how sorry he feels for himself. I think they have psychological problems as well as physical ones. If I tell her I can't do what she wants right at the moment, she starts shrieking like an animal in a trap, "You HAVE TO do it." {as in push aside the original person I promised.} Sorry, but that's not how you do business. If they're that desperate for help with things, they need 24-hour assistance, which with my other commitments I can't provide. They say they'll eventually move in with their daughter {### miles away} so the request is that that happens sooner rather than later, so I'm out of this troublesome situation, which is causing me problems. Amen.

Steven, do what you can and the rest leave to God and pray and believe that God will take care of it. No worry about them. If not you, God will take care of them, if you only ask. You are not the saviour, only God is omnipotent, not we. We even don't know what is the best option for them. Try to believe God more and trust that He will take care of everything. You are allowed to say no. Especially if that's draining you down or if it's a burden to you. God does not want us to put on ourselves burdens that are not designed for us. Don't let the devil make you feel guilty.

Actually, I didn't come to them, they came to me. {Job related, someone gave them my number}. At first, it was like the other customers, but the lady is hyper, calls me to run and run almost every day, moves slow as a snail, {but I have other appointments}, or even my own things to take care of. But I dealt with it. But because of their health issues popping up, they became more "needy" and need drs appointments that are time consuming, and don't always work with my schedule. She's also not good at taking no for an answer, like I say starts getting near hysterical in her demanding I do something. {that's why I think they have psychological problems.} And the husband is like a broken record, repeats the same story over and over again, how he's the victim, he feels so sorry for himself. The daughter just talks to them from a distance, but then lives her own life as she dumps them on others. I mean, they're not MY parents.

Yes, ###, you must protect yourself from dangers of this world. Devil knows your buttons and he uses them, I think, probably, until you learn a lesson and become firm in your attitude and decisions. I think that we all have an intuition (believers have Holy Spirit), which tells them in the beginning if people will be a problem. You just feel their energy. I do. And you?
And you should make decisions relying on that feeling concerning choosing your clients.
If you do not have this inner feeling then start praying Psalm 91 over yourself every morning, and ask God to show you who would be a danger to you, to show you people's hearts in advance. He will do it.
