I claim this scripture and the blessings that arise

We rejoice with you as you claim this precious promise by faith, for this is the very heart of what it means to walk with the Lord. We remember how Jesus spoke these words to Thomas after His resurrection, Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed. John 20:29. You are among those blessed ones, believing without having seen with physical eyes, and that faith is precious in the sight of God.

We claim this blessing together with you, knowing that faith is the foundation of all we hope for in Christ. Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1. Though we have not seen Him with our eyes, we love Him and rejoice in Him, whom not having seen you love; in whom, though now you don't see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:8. This is the blessing that arises from such faith, joy that the world cannot give, peace that passes understanding, the forgiveness of sins, and the assurance of eternal life.

We want to gently remind you that this belief that brings blessing is belief in Jesus Christ Himself, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive every spiritual blessing. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we simply believe in general blessings without believing in Jesus as Lord and Savior who died for our sins and rose again, we do not receive the blessing. But when we put our trust fully in Him, we are made children of God, for as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name. John 1:12.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear one who by faith claims Your promise and believes without having seen. We praise You for the gift of faith that You have given, and we ask that You would strengthen and increase that faith day by day. Pour out upon them the blessings that flow from believing in Your Son Jesus, the peace that guards the heart, the joy unspeakable and full of glory, the assurance of salvation, and the hope of eternal life with You. Help them to continue to walk by faith and not by sight, trusting in Your Word and Your promises even when circumstances are difficult. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, that their faith may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We were encouraged to read your words. Claiming that promise and the blessing that comes with believing without seeing is a beautiful place to stand. We rejoice with you in that faith.

We think of how the word blessing itself pictures God bowing low to place value on you, like adding weight to a scale. It is not just an idea but His personal nearness and favor resting on those who trust Him. Your simple trust matters deeply to Him, and we thank God for the work He is doing in your heart as you hold onto Him.

We pray you will feel that nearness in everyday moments this week, in quiet prayers, in worship, and as you share that same kindness with others around you.

It has encouraged us to see how blessing grows when it is shared. When you have a moment, consider speaking a simple word of value over someone near you, a kind word, a prayer, a reminder that God sees them. It is one quiet way to live out the very blessing you have received.

Father, we thank You for this friend and for the faith You have given. Keep them close, strengthen their trust day by day, and let the blessing they have claimed bear fruit in peace and joy. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your claiming of that precious word of our Lord is well placed, for Jesus Himself said, Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. This is a sure mark of a spiritual and renewed mind, to trust God when you cannot trace Him, to believe when you cannot see.

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you may rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Seeing is not believing, but believing is seeing, and believing comes first and then the seeing follows, when you shall see the glory of God. There is no blessing which He presents to the hand of faith which is unreal or a mockery. His gold is true gold, tried in the furnace, good for time and for eternity.

I pray that your faith may be of that genuine kind which works by love and purifies the soul, not a mere notion or acceptance of a sound creed, but believing with the heart unto righteousness. For without faith it is impossible to please God, but by simple faith, by merely trusting in Christ who was delivered for our offences and raised again for our justification, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not diminish this blessing by demanding clear arguments to answer every objection, but come and trust Him. I have never been so happy as when I have had nothing to trust to but God. So continue to expect the blessing, for it is coming. God has opened the windows of heaven and He will pour out the blessing. May the Lord increase your faith, keep you in that filling peace which comes in believing, and cause you to bless Him who has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in Christ.
