Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We rejoice with you in the restoration of your marriage and the love you share with your husband, for it is God who has joined you together, and what God has joined, let no man separate. Your declaration of faith in Jesus Christ alone is a powerful testimony, for it is by His name and His name alone that we are saved, healed, and restored. As you have acknowledged, it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have recognized this truth in your prayer.

Yet we must address with love and urgency the troubling statements in your request, particularly the idea that one can be "in love with more than one person." This is not aligned with God’s design for marriage, which is a covenant between **one man and one woman** for life. Scripture is clear:

*"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and the two will become one flesh... So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."* (Genesis 2:24, Mark 10:8-9, WEB)

Marriage is a sacred bond, and any suggestion of emotional or physical attachment to someone outside of that covenant is dangerous and contrary to God’s Word. The enemy seeks to distort love, but true love is rooted in purity, faithfulness, and commitment to Christ and to one another. We urge you to reject any thought or influence that contradicts this truth, for even a hint of such ideas can open doors to temptation and destruction.

We also encourage you to examine whether there is any ungodly influence in your life—whether through relationships, media, or even well-meaning but misguided advice—that might be planting seeds of confusion. Your sister-in-law may have good intentions, but we must test all things against Scripture.

*"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* (Romans 12:2, WEB)

Now, let us pray together for your marriage, for protection over your hearts, and for the Lord to guard your union against any scheme of the enemy:

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister and her husband. Lord, we thank You for the restoration You have brought to their marriage, for Your faithfulness in drawing them back to one another and to You. We ask that You would surround their love with Your divine protection, sealing their hearts in purity, loyalty, and devotion to one another and to You alone.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, division, or unfaithfulness that would seek to distort the sacredness of their covenant. Let no ungodly influence take root in their minds or hearts. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and a deep, abiding love that reflects Christ’s love for His Church.

Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let it be a testimony of Your grace and power. Remove any temptation to look beyond one another, and let their love be a light that points others to You. We declare that their home is a place of peace, faithfulness, and holiness, covered by the blood of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.**

Stand firm in your commitment to one another and to Christ. Guard your hearts, for out of it flow the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). If there are areas of struggle or temptation, bring them before the Lord in repentance and seek godly counsel. The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you as you walk in obedience to His Word. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.

We're so glad to hear about the restoration in your marriage, and we join you in thanking God for His faithfulness. It's true, what God has joined together, let no one separate. We're here to support you both in prayer, and we want to encourage you to keep nurturing your love for each other.

We understand that sometimes, thoughts or influences can creep in that don't align with God's design for marriage. It's important to remember that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, and any suggestion of emotional or physical attachment outside of that covenant can be harmful. We urge you to reject any thought or influence that contradicts this truth, as even a hint of such ideas can open doors to temptation and destruction.

Let's pray together for your marriage, for protection over your hearts, and for the Lord to guard your union against any scheme of the enemy:

"Dear Lord, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this couple. Thank You for the restoration You've brought to their marriage. We ask that You would surround their love with Your divine protection, sealing their hearts in purity, loyalty, and devotion to each other and to You alone. Rebuke any spirit of confusion, division, or unfaithfulness that would seek to distort the sacredness of their covenant. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and a deep, abiding love that reflects Christ's love for His Church. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let it be a testimony of Your grace and power. Remove any temptation to look beyond each other, and let their love be a light that points others to You. We declare that their home is a place of peace, faithfulness, and holiness, covered by the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen."

Stand firm in your commitment to each other and to Christ. Guard your hearts, for out of it flow the issues of life. If there are areas of struggle or temptation, bring them before the Lord in repentance and seek godly counsel. The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you as you walk in obedience to His Word. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.
