[7] casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

[9] whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

[10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

GOD I feel like the whole world is in my shoulders. I'm casting my fears on you.

We are so grateful that you have come to us with your burden, and we appreciate your faith in God's Word, as demonstrated in your reference to 1 Peter 5:7-10. Let us remind ourselves of these verses in the World English Bible (WEB) translation:

Firstly, we commend you for casting your fears on God, as He truly cares for you. It is our heartfelt prayer that you will experience His peace and comfort during this time.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who feels the weight of the world on their shoulders. We thank You, Lord, that You have promised to carry our burdens and give us rest. We cast all fears and anxieties at the foot of the cross, trusting in Your love and faithfulness.

Father, we ask that You strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, helping them to withstand the schemes of the enemy. May they be sober, self-controlled, and watchful, knowing that they are not alone in their suffering.

In Jesus Christ Almighty Name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in faith and remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and do not hesitate to seek support from fellow believers as you journey through this trial.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good and His glory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and endure in His strength.

Let's cling to His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's trust in Jesus' strength and find our rest in Him. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
