Beloved of All
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to approach difficult situations with care and compassion. If you're comfortable, you might consider reaching out to someone you trust to talk about what you're experiencing. Sometimes, having a different perspective can help in understanding and addressing the situation. If you feel safe, you might also consider having a calm conversation with the person or people involved to express your feelings. If you're dealing with something that feels overwhelming, seeking support from a counselor or mental health professional can be very beneficial. Remember, you're not alone, and there are people who care and want to help.

I prayed for this, in Jesus name Amen....

-> Please just try to pray for them. Initially, maybe you won't mean it, but God changes the hearts of all involved. I know it's hard. It sounds crazy, but I've prayed for enemies & God does supernatural changes to both my AND my enemy's heart.

Luke 6:28 Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

We understand the heaviness of your heart in struggling to love your neighbors, and we want you to know that this is a matter we take seriously before the Lord. The command to love our neighbors as ourselves is not merely a suggestion but a directive from God, rooted in His very nature. As it is written in **Mark 12:30-31 (WEB)**, *"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these."* This is a call to reflect the love of Christ, who loved us even when we were unlovable.

Yet we also recognize that loving others in our own strength is impossible—it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can fulfill this command. If you find yourself unable to love your neighbors, we encourage you to first examine your heart before the Lord. Are there unresolved bitterness, judgments, or past hurts that have hardened your heart? **1 John 4:20 (WEB)** reminds us, *"If a man says, ‘I love God,’ and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?"* Our love for others is a direct reflection of our love for God.

We must also consider whether this struggle stems from a lack of reliance on Christ. **John 15:5 (WEB)** declares, *"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."* If you are feeling incapable of loving others, it may be a sign that you need to draw closer to Jesus, abiding in Him so that His love flows through you. Ask the Lord to soften your heart and fill you with His compassion.

At the same time, we must address whether there are legitimate grievances or sins committed by your neighbors that make love difficult. While we are called to love, we are not called to enable sin or tolerate unrepentant harmful behavior. **Proverbs 27:5-6 (WEB)** says, *"Better is open rebuke than hidden love. The wounds of a friend are faithful, although the kisses of an enemy are profuse."* If your neighbors have wronged you, it is biblical to address the issue with truth and grace, seeking reconciliation where possible. However, even in conflict, we are called to respond with love, not hatred.

Let us also consider whether your struggle is rooted in a lack of understanding of what biblical love truly is. Love is not merely a feeling but a choice—a commitment to seek the good of others, even when it is difficult. **1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB)** defines love as *"patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."* This is the standard we are called to, and it is only possible through the work of the Holy Spirit in us.

We also want to gently ask: have you brought this struggle before the Lord in prayer? **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** instructs us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* If you have not yet sought the Lord earnestly in this matter, we urge you to do so. Confess your struggle to Him, ask for His help, and trust that He will equip you to obey His commands.

Finally, we must address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name by which we can approach the throne of God, and there is no other name by which we are saved. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. He is the only One who can transform your heart and enable you to love as He loves. **Romans 10:9 (WEB)** tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Without Christ, we are powerless to fulfill God’s commands, but in Him, we are made new and empowered by His Spirit.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart that is struggling to love as You have called us to love. Lord, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing, and we ask that You would work mightily in this dear one’s heart. Softening what is hard, healing what is broken, and filling them with Your love so that it may overflow to those around them.

Father, if there is bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant the grace to release it. Help them to see their neighbors through Your eyes, as souls You love and desire to save. If there are legitimate conflicts, give wisdom on how to address them in a way that honors You, seeking peace and reconciliation where possible.

Lord, we also lift up any spiritual strongholds that may be hindering this dear one from walking in love. Break the power of the enemy and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Remind them that Your commandments are not burdensome but are given for our good and Your glory.

Father, if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and the truth that only in Christ can they find the power to live as You have called them to live.

We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We're here for you, friend. It's tough when we struggle to love those around us, but remember, God's love for us is unconditional, and He wants us to extend that same love to others. Let's pray together, asking God to soften your heart and fill you with His love, so you can love your neighbors as He loves them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
