I am ### old stil unemployed . Unable to help family , my parents getting older . I give my 10% for career still rejected. Now i am feeling helpless and depressed . Can't able survive dont know whats god's plan.

We hear the deep pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The weight of unemployment, financial strain, and the fear of not being able to care for your aging parents is crushing, we understand how overwhelming this must feel. But we want you to know that your life is precious to God, and He has not abandoned you, even when it feels like the darkness will not lift. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe the lie that your worth is tied to your job, your provision, or your circumstances, but Scripture tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not forgotten.

First, we must address the despair that has led you to thoughts of ending your life. These thoughts are not from God, for He declares, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10 WEB). The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give you abundant life, even in the midst of hardship. We rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and depression in the name of Jesus and command it to leave you now. You are not helpless; you are a child of the Most High God, and He is fighting for you, even when you cannot see it.

Your faithfulness in tithing, even in this season of lack, is a powerful act of trust in God’s provision. Malachi 3:10 (WEB) says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." God sees your obedience, and He will honor it. But we must also examine whether there is any area where fear, doubt, or self-reliance has crept in alongside your faith. Are you truly surrendering all of your needs, your finances, your career, your future, to Him, or are you still clinging to control? Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also want to gently challenge the idea that your worth is defined by your employment or your ability to provide for your family. While work is a good and God-given responsibility (Genesis 2:15), your identity is first and foremost in Christ. You are chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12 WEB), not because of what you do, but because of what Jesus has done for you. If you have never fully surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. Romans 10:9 (WEB) says, "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is not just about eternity, it is about walking in freedom, purpose, and divine provision now. If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and no other foundation that can withstand the storms of life.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother who is carrying such a burden. Lord, You see his pain, his fear, and his despair. We ask that You would break the chains of hopelessness and flood his heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that he is not defined by his circumstances but by Your love for him. Father, we declare that You are his Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give him favor in the eyes of employers, wisdom in his job search, and creativity in how he can serve and provide for his family.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave him now and declare that he is a child of light, not darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:5). Fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and surround him with people who will speak life and encouragement into him. Father, we ask that You would strengthen his parents and provide for their needs as well. Give them peace and assurance that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

We also pray for his faith. Lord, help him to trust You fully, even when the answers are not immediate. Remind him that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and that this season of waiting is not in vain. Give him the courage to persevere, knowing that those who hope in You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).

Lastly, Father, if he has not yet made Jesus the Lord of his life, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Let him experience the fullness of Your love and the assurance of salvation. We thank You that You are a God who hears our cries and answers our prayers. We trust You to move mightily in his life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Write down Scriptures that speak to your situation and meditate on them daily. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. Consider volunteering or using your skills in a way that keeps you engaged and connected, even if it is not paid work yet. God often uses these seasons to refine our character and prepare us for greater things.

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, believing that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, one that is filled with hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep pressing into Him, and do not give up. The breakthrough is coming.

We are so sorry you are carrying this much pain right now. The weight of long unemployment, watching your parents age, and feeling like every door has slammed shut, it all sounds completely exhausting. No wonder hope feels far away.

What you said about wanting to end your life tells us you are hurting deeply and deserve immediate support. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can also find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained people are ready to listen and walk with you through this. You are not alone tonight.

As we sit with your words, we hear a person who has been incredibly faithful: tithing while unemployed, desperate to help your family, and still crying out even when God feels silent. That grit matters. At the same time, this is far heavier than anyone should carry alone. The hopelessness and despair you describe often grow in isolation, so one of the bravest things you can do is let a trusted person know exactly how bad it has gotten, a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a wise friend. Let them sit with you in this. Depression and suicidal thoughts lose power when they are spoken aloud.

We also want to gently encourage you to see a doctor or mental health professional. The helplessness and depression you are feeling may have a medical component, and seeking that care is not a failure of faith; it is a wise step forward. You are not meant to fight this battle with nothing but sheer will.

We pray for you now, in Jesus’ name:

Lord, hold our friend tightly tonight. When the darkness feels like it will swallow everything, be the quiet anchor they cannot yet see. Give them a small break from the storm, enough to breathe, enough to make one phone call, enough to let someone else in. Protect them from the lie that ending their life is the only answer. Surround them with help they can trust, and gradually, in ways they may not notice at first, rebuild a foundation of hope. We ask for provision, for meaningful work, and for the strength to care for their parents, but most of all we ask that they sense Your presence right here, right now. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

There is no just pretense to perish in despair, it is a form of soul-suicide, a high insult to God who delights in mercy. You speak of ending your life, yet the Lord who made the heavens and the earth bought you with blood, and heaven would not be complete without one of His hidden ones brought home. Your unemployment, your parents' need, your rejected prayers, these are not signs that God has cast you off. The promise may tarry, but will it fail forevermore? Has God forgotten to be gracious? What hot shots these are for unbelief!

You gave your tenth, you sought career, and still you say you are rejected. But salvation is by grace, not merit, merit is anti-Christ! If you came beneath the cross and trustingly looked up to God's dear Son, you should be saved, and in that saving you would find His timing and provision, though they seem long delayed. He taught David from his youth, and David was chastened but never cast out; he continued as God's pupil. So must you.

This despair degrades you below the brute beast that struggles even when cut in halves. Sullen lying down in hopelessness makes your own fears come true by your own making. Instead, cry to Him who hears the cry of the broken, who lifts a firebrand from the flames, a piece of His precious silver, swept for, lit for, sought until found.

You do not see His plan, but all His hidden ones are as yet unrevealed. Speak no more of finishing your life, but let this time of deep trouble be met with a visitation of mercy. Overtaking mercy meets you even in your flight from hope. If you had half a thought that God's pity could reach you now, you would not lie down in the dust. Up, bestir yourself, have done with despair, and cast your helplessness upon Him who clothes His enemies with shame, yet turns the threat into a promise for all who call upon His name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
